The Space:

Here it is - the Hawaiian Ali'i oceanfront getaway that puts a check mark next to everything on your vacation wish list. Looking for luxury? Want to hear the ocean waves from your condo? Breathtaking views of the coastline and islands? A mile of the best sandy beach on Maui just an elevator ride away from your top floor suite? All of that and more is waiting for you at the Southernmost point of Kihei, here at Mana Kai # 811 right on Keawakapu Beach.



This 767 square foot two bedroom/two bathroom eighth floor unit can accommodate up to six guests in tastefully decorated modern island style and comes with its own designated parking space. Depending on your needs you can choose from one of three options at booking: the open plan one bedroom condo with full kitchen and sitting area (which includes access to the private “million dollar view” lanai), the cozy hotel room style studio, or both spaces together for those in need of an extra room. Each area has a separate entrance connected by a short hallway. Due to Covid-19 we are no longer offer the separate rental spaces. Until further notice, only the entire 2BD/2BA space is available for rent.



The open plan condo was designed to take advantage of ocean breezes and spectacular views. The king sized bed is right next to the sliding glass doors that open directly onto the lanai. Taking just a few steps from bed out into the fresh air will allow you to see the peaks of Maui's own Haleakalā National Park as well as the islands of Molokini, Kaho‘olawe, and the shoreline down from Wailea to Makena.



Adjacent to the bedroom area is the sitting room with sleeper sofa and 55 inch Samsung smart TV. When privacy is needed sliding privacy wooden doors can section off the master bedroom from the main kitchen/sitting room area. Next to the bedroom is a newly renovated bathroom that has a roomy stone tile shower stall with built in seat.



In the kitchen spacious stone counter tops are just waiting for you to whip up anything from a cup of coffee to a full three course meal. Dishes and cutlery have been provided as well as a full complement of GE appliances: coffee grinder/maker, toaster, microwave, refrigerator with ice dispenser, four burner induction stove, oven, and dishwasher.



Inside the hotel room style studio you will find a king sized bed and bathroom with a bathtub/shower combo as well as a 42 inch Samsung flat screen smart TV, microwave, coffee maker, and mini fridge. The ocean beaches to the North can be seen from the studio room as well.



Both rooms have ceiling fans, AC units, personal safes for your valuables, cable TV, a phone line with free calls nationally and to Canada, complimentary wireless internet that covers the entire resort property, and blackout drapes in addition to sheer ones for those looking to enjoy late morning wake ups. Token operated washers and dryers are located on each floor near the elevators.



Before you head to the beach be sure to check out the surf shop. In addition to surfing lessons they rent out snorkeling equipment, paddle boards, kayaks, bicycles, boogie boards, beach umbrellas, and more. When you are ready to enjoy the outdoors just take a walk a few feet past the temperature controlled swimming pool and you will immediately be on soft sands of Keawakapu Beach. Lounge chairs are provided for Mana Kai guests on the lawn or bring your beach chairs, boogie board, umbrella, and noodles to the beach to take in the sun lounging, snorkeling, or body surfing.



For the active visitor the resort offers yoga classes as well as a fitness center where you can choose from a variety of cardio, free weight, and strength training equipment. Need to check emails or print boarding passes? The business center is equipped with both Mac and Windows computers connected to a printer free for your use.
