  • Beach Front Sugar Beach Resort, Ground Floor, Ocean View Unit. We recently remodeled this unit and it now represents outstanding quality. Enjoy all of the amenities in a clean, well kept property. The entire complex sits ocean front, there are no roads to cross, you are less than 65 steps from the beach and never have to hassle with an elevator!

    The carefully chosen furnishings and décor in this completely remodeled unit will allow you to melt into 'Maui Time'. Dine on your private lanai while watching the 'green flash' that can occur when the sun sets into the ocean. There are many green sea turtles swimming in the surf in front of Sugar Beach Resort, and magnificent humpback whales as they return each winter to enjoy their calving grounds in the Maui waters.

    Enjoy walking the more than 5 Mile continuous beach every morning or evening. There are many pieces of lawn and garden furniture spread throughout the resort grounds and pool area. The grounds are very well kept and the pool is heated and kept between 80 - 85 degrees (one of the warmest on Maui). The unit is less than 65 steps to your feet in the sand on the beach, it is truly a wonderful location!!!

    The Unit is very well equipped, it has all of the linens and towels that you will need. There are two cable TV's, a 37' flat wall mounted w/DVD in the bedroom and a 51' flat screen in the living room with bluray/DVD. A stereo system with CD is provided, high speed broadband internet is available in the unit as well. There is a hair dryer, an iron and ironing board as well as a washer and dryer. The kitchen is completely stocked with pots, pans, dishes, silverware, toaster, microwave, etc. Food is available nearby at: Costco in Kahului, while Kihei offers a Safeway, Food Land, Star Market, and Farmer’s market.

    We welcome you to our unit and hope you take advantage of our ground floor location, please look at all of our photos, you can clearly see what the unit looks like and the excellent view!!!

    Also, if you are vacationing with another party and would like to rent another unit please ask us! We also own Penthouse 1 (listing 461914). Depending on dates and availability we may be able to arrange rental of both units!

This place was perfect!! Super clean and well stocked! We had everything we needed from boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towels, shampoo, and conditioner etc! The kitchen had everything we needed. We will definitely be renting this property again when we revisit!

Loved being on the ground floor and so close to the pool and beach. The condo had everything we needed and the resort grounds were clean and beautiful. We would definitely stay here again!

Fully equipped for all your needs. Just steps away from a nice pool and beach. Only minutes from airport and shopping. It may be a little dated but very clean and a great value for the price.

This was an amazing place to stay. The location was perfect - close to the chaos of south Kihei but not in the middle of it. A great place to stay to enjoy the beach, pool, walking/running paths, and all that Kihei has to offer. Everything you need for a great stay was already there, and it was well kept. We highly recommend this location and will definitely use it again when needed!

We loved our stay at Sugar Beach Resort! We have stayed here many many times but this is by far the most comfortable condo we have stayed in. The bed was very comfortable and the furniture and chairs made for easy relaxing at the end of each busy day. Well stocked with anything you could need. Enjoyed the ground floor access as well! 5 stars!

Location

Sugar Beach is an excellent resort directly on a very long beach, lots of lounge chairs, pool and hot tub. Many restaurants near by in Kihei and the central location is an ideal base for exploring Maui.

Darling little condo on Sugar Beach! The location was perfect since there was often a lot of traffic on Kihei Rd, we avoided all that trying to come or go from home base. The condo was lovely and comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Cooking in a rental condo is often tricky but this was the best kept kitchen we have ever stayed in. Bathroom was well stocked with towels and shampoo and the laundry machines in the room worked great. Everything was clean and spacious for our family of four and we never felt cramped. Being on the first floor was great, our lanai opened up to the fountain and the pool area and was just a few steps from the beach and the grills. Check in and out were easy as could be and we could not have been happier with our stay!

Stayed 5 nights at Sugar Beach

This was such a perfect place for us. Steps away from the beach & great location. Had a diner close by as well. Can walk miles along the beach.

Awesome stay great location to local businesses

Brought the kids and wife to visit family and enjoy our first vacation together, this place was great. They had an amazing location with the ocean and pool literally feet away from the back porch, Dina’s sandwich shop is in the same spot which makes it great if you don’t feel like going out or cooking. Definitely coming back here again.
