「Cathy is a super host! She made us feel very welcomed. The property is very cute. Her breakfast offerings are fantastic. We had a faux pas with the guest washing machine and she graciously assisted late in the evening and had our laundry back to us by morning. 」

「This house is beautiful and immaculate and the owner had thought of everything for all ages from high chairs and travel cots to a shower seat in the walk-in shower. The location was ideal to so many places. The owner is lovely and was quick to resolve any issues. Unfortunately the house itself seems to be the only part of the property that has been renovated and what will be a lovely fairy garden, replete with waterfalls, was marred by construction rubbish. 「This hotel's exterior doesn't even hint at what's inside. The area is spacious, flowing and absolutely lovely in the lobby and Waterfront restaurant. We drove all over Ireland for the past 2 weeks and this is the only hotel that had a shower curtain so the floor wasnt flooded (those half walls do nothing, especially when you can't adjust the showerhead to not spray outside the shower stall) and a bathroom exhaust fan so the mirror didnt steam over. 「Worst thing is getting to your room a mile away from reception, only to find that the room keys don't work on the last day. This is despite the hotel bill being prepaid. Are they expecting us to walk off with the 10 year old telly? It's a terrible practise, and certainly not unique to this hotel, where the stay was otherwise fine and the bar food pretty good.」

「This place was so cute. I only stayed for one night but I wish I had stayed longer. Very clean and cute. You could tell a lot of love and care had been put into the decor. Everything felt cozy and homey. They even had coffee and cookies available in the room. And they provided a little binder full of hiking spots, restaurants, and things to do nearby which was very helpful. If I ever come through this town again o will definitely stay at Madeline’s. 」
