「It is difficult to fault Kilkea Castle as every aspect of the property impressed. The little things therefore matter and small faults in maintenance, which should be dealt with in a luxury property, tend to stand out more. However, that is digging into the fine detail. So, first impressions carried through from first stepping inside with a warm welcome, the engaging housekeeping staff and superbly professional dining/breakfast room staff. On site activities are a nice touch and worth looking at....

As we are on an extended trip of 3 months staff changed our room to thd lower floor so we didn't have to lug our suitcases upstairs. We had a lunch and a dinner and both were wonderful and well priced.」

Food in the restaurant was very nice both at dinner and breakfast. The hotel had excellent gym facilities. All in all a great short break!」
