Great Thanksgiving stay!

We booked this for a family Thanksgiving. My husband and I live in the area but our home is not large enough to comfortably accommodate 9 people. The house was AMAZING and decorated beautifully for the holidays. Everyone had their own space and the common areas accommodated all of us comfortably. Our host was very responsive when I reached out with a few last minute questions. This was a wonderful holiday experience!

superb stay at Rum Retreat

Easy walking distance to beach-at the end of the street. It is very close to shops, Target, and restaurants. Just down the road from Jockey's Ridge and Wright Brothers Memorial.All 5 bedrooms were well decorated and had comfortable beds. The bathrooms were very clean and modern. The sand volleyball yard was great fun and the outdoor shower quite useful. The house does have many steps with one primary bedroom and all the living areas on the top floor so if steps are a problem beware. But the kitchen/dining/living area is spacious and has 2 balconies.Only issue we had was no curtains or blinds on most of the windows so the sun came in around 5:45am! We're early risers but fyi. Will probably stay here again.
