“There were 6 adults from Canada and we had a wonderful stay at Roisin and Larry's home. It is a very impressive home and they had a well stocked pantry for us to enjoy. There were lots of things over and above what was required but they were really appreciated by us. The check in and out process was great. “We booked this property because of the space and amenities within it, thinking that it would be a good home base to go to Killarney and Dingle and the surrounding areas. What we didn't know is that the little town of Castlemaine has a fun life of it's very own and if you go to Griffin's (a 1-2 minute walk!) for dinner and move to the bar for drinks afterwards, you will have a fantastic time! The property itself is VERY comfortable, spacious and fun. It's so hard to find queen-sized beds, and……

“The house is wonderful. Very large, spotlessly clean, super nice, very close to town location. We stayed as an extended family of 6, it was great for everyone to have their own bedrooms and bath, which was a break from staying in hotels on the rest of the trip, highly recommended.”

“Fantastic bay, 5m from the back of the property. Dolphins were in the bay for 2 days. Perfectly quiet. The Beara Peninsula is truly beautiful.”

“The pictures don’t do it justice. The house is big and roomy with high end finishes The bedrooms are huge with comfortable beds. 3 have on suite and the bedroom on the ground floor is right next to a full bath. Lots of space for everyone to find their own spots. Kitchen was stocked with everything you could need. We did several dinners there plus breakfasts. Loved the cows watching us. Owners are very responsive both before we arrived and during our stay. Collette even came with an extra coffee……

“My group of friends and I had a very nice stay at Acara. The condo was roomy for 3 couples. Everyone had a bathroom which was great. The location was ideal to walk to downtown for restaurants. I would recommend this to groups or families and I would definitely go there again! Thanks to Tony!”

Der Garten ist groß und sehr schön und liebevoll gestaltet. Ideal auch für Familie mit Kindern! Die Heizung hat super und schnell funktioniert und ebenso problemlos der offene Kamin!Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.”

“The location is beautiful and feels set apart despite being so close to services and the incredible drives and towns on the Ring of Kerry and Dingle Peninsula. Everything would be 5 stars except there was a little musty smell, likely coming from the carpets and perhaps older furnishings in LR. It was wonderful to have 2 lovely bathrooms, a very comfortable king bed, laundry, and a sparkling kitchen. We did have problems communicating with the host, despite international roaming -- but that's not……

“This place was excellent for our Ireland Golf trip. We had 8 golfers which included two of my son’s and two wives joined us for a total group of 10. The home was well situated for our drives to some of Ireland’s premier golf courses and our day trip to Killarney. The house is much larger than it appears in the photos particularly the two upstairs king en suite bedrooms. Sean was easy to communicate with and made the process easy. Much appreciated. John”

“Beautiful home with ample room for two families. We were greeted by the host who took the time to show us around and followed up with us to make sure all was going well. She provided us with milk, cream, coffee and tea which was much appreciated. It is newly remodeled, each room was lovely and well kept. There is outdoor furniture and the lawn rolls down to the sea. We would highly recommend.”

“J’ai été fortement décue par le comportement du gérant. Nous avons été arnaqués quant à la consommation d’électricité. Nous n’avons jamais pu avoir accès à l’application comme c’était normalement prévu. Le gérant a refusé de nous donner les codes alors que c’était indiqué que c’était à nous de gérer… bref il s’est mis de l’argent en liquide à donner à notre départ. Absolument pas honnête. D’autant plus que la maison n’est absolument pas isolée, les chauffages sont obsolètes donc pas appropriés……

“Everything was mostly clean, but using the water heater was an adjustment and neither of the toilets flushed correctly. That was quickly fixed by maintenance though. My only real complaint about the property was the noise level. It seems that these apartments are rented out to large groups of students who party and make an unbelievable amount of noise. Great amenities, not so great with the noise. ”

“We had a two bedroom apartment. It beds we comfortable, the sitting room good, and a nice kitchen. I would stay here again. ”
