Wife and I choose this home for a week away hiking with our eldest pup during the fall. The home is located in a quiet neighborhood setting, set away enough from others that you feel secluded. However, you will only be moments from Killignton and 30 mins from nearby Woodstock.Finding the home was easy with legible numbers at the road with a large gravel drive. Plenty of parking for atleast a few vehicles, though im sure 4WD would be required in the winter. Exterior of home is clean and well kept with much appreciated outdoor lighting for nightime dog outings. While we didnt partake, the hot tub and fire pit were a nice addition if you get the chance. We did use the 2nd floor deck a bit as our pup loved the vantage point.Interior, the home was clean and spacious with all the amenities we needed. It was just (2) of us, so we slept upstairs but all the bedrooms and bathrooms were nicely optioned and included closet space. All the furniture and appliances were in good shape and the living room served as our reprieve after long days of hiking. As I am sure you will read across all of VRBO rentals ever listed, the pillows and bed were not our favorite but not the hosts fault. Everyone is different ! Pillows were a little limp and bed a bit stiff for us. A minor note that should not deter any potential renters.Hosts were easy to communicate with, responsive, and friendly. Overall, this is an excellent home you should consider if you need to be in the area !
