“My fiance and I stayed at Laurel’s barn loft with our two dogs and had the most wonderful time. You cannot beat the views and the weather in June was perfect. We live in Boston so this was such a nice escape for the dogs too to have so much space. Laurel was so accommodating and kind. We hiked hanging rock state park and went to the lower falls as well, would highly recommend!!”

“The house was not in a good neighborhood. Major issues: Chained dog barked all night, the washing machine didn’t work, had to call to find the linens which were stored in a file cabinet in a bedroom, showed up during check in time and cleaning staff was still there, hardly any dishes on site so forget about cooking a meal there. Place was a disappointment at best, especially for the overall cost.”

“This home had everything you could need and want for a family vacation. There was a play loft with so many toys, books and activities for young kids. The disc golf course and beautiful setting kept the adults happy. The kitchen had everything you could need and very nice utensils, cookware, etc. the home was extremely clean and so nicely done. Was so thankful to run into this. Walking distance to the Andy Griffith Museum. Amphitheater was basically in back yard so has like a free concert. Nothing to complain about. “We had a great stay, the house is beautiful & we instantly felt welcomed & at home. The welcome basket & sweet note was such a thoughtful touch. The property is stunning, the views were just lovely & the old homestead outback was nice to see. The location was quiet, private, country feeling but very well lit which was great at night & walking the property was very enjoyable.
