It could not have been better. Herb and Dixie were kind and accommodating in a such a gracious manner. Not only was the house and location wonderful, but I made new friends. If you are looking for a large, welcoming home in the hill country - this is it! "

"Amazing property with beautiful natural surroundings. The lodge was fully stocked with ample room for large families. The private swimming hole was great and the hiking trails along the spring were fantastic for exploring the grounds. Fun themed cantina and outdoor fur pit/grilling area were gathering spaces.Bonus feature was all the exotic animals on site!A definite gem in the hill country"

"We booked this home for a fishing tournament on Lake Amistad. We really enjoyed everything about this house. It was very clean and maintained. The pool was the perfect temperature and our host Joshua was quick to answer questions and make sure we had everything we needed! We will be sure to stay here again!"

"It was very peaceful and enjoyable. Plenty of room for the 9 of us. One family of 4 people and one small dog and another family of 4. The home sits on 25 acres of west Texas range land which was great for hiking. We recommend the veiw from “The Platform”."
