An ok value but with a lot more hotels opening in Kin will have to up its game for this price range. All around great service especially Hyppolite at the restaurant. Lovely inner courtyard solid breakfast options and nice menu with very good indian food. Gym was a mess though, dirty with broken equipment. Huge room with good amenities. A good choice if you need to be centrally located.

The hotel was modern, clean and the rooms were very good size with a working desk and small refrigerator. The bed was large, comfortable and the TV worked very well and had an English speaking section of shows. Also the cleaning people did a very good job. They also had a solid bar and very good food.

10 nights spent in this hotel. Everything was very good with an outstanding staff. A rich breakfast, and Badr, the chef ,made it possible you get what you wanted. I will be staying in this hotel in case of a next trip to Kinshasa.

Avis sur mon séjour à l’hôtel Royal de Kinshasa

J’ai séjourné à l’hôtel Royal de Kinshasa dans une suite junior (n°409) pour une durée de 9 nuits, au tarif de 250 dollars par nuit. Malheureusement, mon expérience a été décevante à plusieurs égards. Chaque jour, j’ai dû téléphoner à la réception pour demander des essuie-mains, car ils n’étaient jamais mis à disposition dans la salle de bain. Hier soir, épuisée, je me suis allongée sur le canapé et, en voulant prendre une douche vers 23h00, j’ai constaté qu’il n’y avait aucune serviette. J’ai donc été contrainte de me coucher sans me laver. Ce matin, j’ai appelé la réception à 6h00 pour demander des serviettes, qui ne m’ont été apportées qu’à 8h00. Ce soir encore, j’ai contacté la réception à 22h00, et à minuit passé (00h05), je n’avais toujours rien reçu. Le personnel m’a simplement répondu que le service des linges était fermé. De plus, l’état de l’ascenseur menant au 4e étage était inadmissible : il est resté toute la journée sale, rempli de poussière de ciment, de briques et de sachets sur une surface très étroite (à peine 1 m²). Autre point : nous étions deux dans la chambre, mais on ne nous livrait que deux petites bouteilles d’eau par jour, alors qu’il aurait été logique d’en fournir quatre (deux par personne). Le personnel semblait ne pas être informé que nous étions deux, preuve d’un manque de communication évident. Enfin, nous avons eu besoin d’une petite cuillère pour le thé, et on nous a demandé de payer 5 dollars pour qu’on nous en apporte une, ce que je tro
