This Super 8 has a contract with the Region of Waterloo for social housing. That area is smoking. So there are cigarette butts everywhere and the smell of smoke seeps into the non-smoking area. The room we had was in need of serious repair. The toilet paper holder was falling off of the wall, extremely poor paint job, a section of the bed frame was chipped way and wall paper falling off of the wall.

On May 16th, upon my arrival, I was given a room different from the one I had booked. Moreover, I found the room in a disgusting condition, with even used condoms left there. It was a heavyset, dark-haired man who gave me this room. I went back to the reception and found another man, apparently of Pakistani or Iranian origin, who apologized and changed my room. However, even after that, the new room was still not up to standard.

The property has some painting done, we stayed in a clean painted room. Internet excess was free.i am handicapped and get around on a small scooter, which was extremely difficult to get through two doors maybe 5 feet apart and needed some to have both doors open at the same time to get through to our room. Terrible way to get into the building.small kitchen with no appliances or towels for cleanup.The grounds need looking after in the worst way. Breakfast was cereal and waffles. To get ice one had to get out of one building into main building to get it. I cannot recommend Super 8 in Cambridge!!!

The dogs were just pooped everywhere, dogs were barking all the time, a guest decided to have a fight at 2 o’clock in the morning for half an hour. Slamming doors and screaming at each other in the hallway. The room wasn’t very clean, the pool always had stuff floating in it, every hallway smelled like someone was hot boxing the rooms, you could taste the marijuana in the hallway.

I have used this hotel all 3 times I have been in the area and I do recommend it. The Continental breakfast is really good and gives good options - fresh Belgian waffles, cereal, oatmeal, bagels, toast, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, tea, coffee, milk, juice The staff are always friendly and very quick to problem solve if you have any concerns (our AC was leaking from it running so much and it being so hot outside) It is an older hotel but the suites have always met our expectations and are a good size, definitely book a suite if you have more than 3 people so that you have ample space. The prices are always reasonable, they do have an outdoor pool in the middle of their yard and a bar/restaurant on site downstairs.

The room was not the cleaniest , it was like they rushed it , if the room was cleaned properly it would of been alot better but i can tell the building in general is a little run down , the pool is really nice and the staff are friendly , would i stay there again probably not due to how uncleansly it was .

I think a lot of people live in the hotel. Windows broken. Curtains stained and worn. Yard around hotel very dumpy pool was clean. Our room was clean but I would never stay here again. Area looks very shady when u drive around to the back of building

Absolutely disgusting- there was urine stains on the beds, public hair on the toilet seat, the floors were sticky everywhere (you had to wear your shoes at all times). Counters/tubs/chair stained. Spiders on walls, pad lock was broken and a hole at the bottom of the door. This was a sketchy building so that was a massive issue as well. Got a refund and left.

A very nice quiet hotel. The bed was comfortable but bring your own pillows! We had two pillows, one was flat and the other lumpy. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was nice.
