“This was our THIRD time staying in this house and hopefully there will be many more visits. Bernadette is the BEST host. We have had a couple of requests/accommodations over our stays and she totally made it happen when she didn't NEED to...she's just awesome like that! The cleanliness of the house was great. Location is perfect. Everything in the house worked just fine (tv, appliances, hot water, etc.) My family can't wait to put this house on our calendar for the 2024 season!”

“We had a great time staying at the View Cottage! The view from the porch overlooking the dunes and ocean was phenomenal and there was great space to relax and enjoy our company. Beach access was very convenient and the property was well-stocked with beach supplies. We will be keeping tabs on the cottage for future stays!”

“We stayed at One More Moon for 5 nights in April. The weather was gorgeous and the location was exactly what we were looking for. Check-in was super easy, the rental company sent us a text just before check-in time with everything we needed. Beach access was a short walk in either direction (maybe 100 yards in either direction). I can imagine the road between the house and the beach is super busy in the summer months though so may not be ideal for those with very small children. The house was……

“They so s a nice house with a smart layout. Very clean considering it is pet friendly. Sure some things could use a little updating but overall is in great shape and an awesome location just off the beach. Beach chairs and toys included made packing easier, the kitchen had tons of pots and dishes, way more than we have at home. Highly recommend if you're ok with a comfy home rather a modern brand new option.”

“Went to celebrate my Birthday. We frequent the Outer Banks so found this place that was great for just 2 couples. Awesome spot to relax and unwind. Love the updating being done. Little suggestions would be coasters to protect tables, maybe a screen door and have tv instructions. We would definitely rent again! Only minor thing was someone had been under house smoking and left butts and cigarette packages on ground but that isn't the owners fault.”

“Sea forever is a beautiful home and very spacious. We were five in total, and we were not on top of each other and had room to spread out. My boyfriend and I had the entire top floor to ourselves, apart for when we gathered to prepare meals and eat. The kitchen was stocked with essential items needed for our stay. The property is a few minutes from the beach and the hosts made every effort to inform guests on places to eat, how to get to the beach, and other helpful tips. We had small issues……

“The home was extremely clean and comfortable. Very quick access to the beach… walkable less than a quarter mile to public access. Multiple grocery stores within a couple minutes… and easy access to restaurants, putt putt, ice cream, and WRV surf shop right across the street.”

“We spent two nights here. It was off the main road and had amazing access to the sound on the west side of the OBX, which made for some great sunsets! Aside from sleeping we didn't necessarily spend a lot of time in the apartment, but it worked out great for my wife and I. One perk, free coffee at the Outer Bean for guests :) The price was right and the location was just fine.”

“The house was great. Pictures were accurate in the listing. It definitely could have been cleaner. The carpets weren’t vacuumed and it was obvious. One of the bedrooms the sheets had not been changed. This was noticed in the morning after sleeping in the bed. Also when we reserved the house it did state that there was an elevator. One of our group has difficulty walking so this was one of the reasons we chose this house. Upon arrival we could not figure out how to get it to work. I called the……

“Seems strange but the property was all but empty, off season, yet the room above us was booked with noisy guests and we were put in a room with a parking lot view when better views were available. Upgrading rooms…good thing but was not a bother to us. Some upgrades were done in our condo which were very nice!”

“Property included lots of activities for families - shuffleboard, table tennis and indoor pool were our favorites. Everything was clean and stocked ( pots, extra bedding) and included free laundry machines! ”
