“The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. “This is a great location as your base for your adventures on Ben Nevis......as it says in the name 😀. The staff are friendly and helpful and check-in/out went smoothly. There is an amazing cafe opposite that serves snacks, full meals and drinks. Also on site is the bike hire and the staff here have excellent knowledge of the area and all things bike related. To top it off the hotel is situated right on the Nevis gondola station. Fully recommend staying here.”
