Amazing hotel with so many lovely qualities, I am not sure where to start. Everything about this hotel was so rich! The lobby was beautiful, the rooms were spacious and well appointed and the staff made you feel like royalty. I felt so pampered! So many amenities in the room!

This is one of the most fun hotels I've stayed at. I lived in Kobe for four years in the late 90s and this hotel gave me a stronger sense of the city's history than I ever got in the time I lived there. The aesthetics of the hotel channel Kobe's contemporary roots in an extremely charming way, and that's just the gravy on top of an impeccably designed and managed hotel.

Great staff, but failed to pick us up from our cruise ship—over an hour late so we ended up with a taxi after major language issues. Good location, but rooms are not modernized. Decent value for money but probably will try another hotel on next visit.

yes but...

it was only one night stay but it was the most pleasant stay as always. the only one odd thing we saw was the homeless lady was hanging around the main entrance at night. The next morning when we were leaving, she was still there deeply sleeping on the chair. She is no harm. Kind of famous quiet homeless lady in the neighborhood without any bothersome behavior whatsoever. But still it's not great for the hotel reputation and we worried about how tourists think about the whole situation. Other than that it's always almost perfect at this best hotel in KOBE. We are so proud of ORIENTAL HOTEL.

立地が博物館の隣で素敵でした。夜景も綺麗でお部屋の雰囲気も良く広々として寛げました。 アメニティのボタニカルな香りも個人的趣向に合い良かったです。冷蔵庫内のサービスは小学生の子供が喜んでいました。 私的には部屋にアイロンが常備されてあることや、ヘアアイロンの貸し出し等もポイント高いなと思いました。 朝食も普通に良かったです。 フロントの方が皆さん親しみやすくて話しやすく、自分たちにも、興味を持ってくださり嬉しかったです。 今回はホテルでゆっくりする時間が少なかったので、フロアのミニバー等のサービスを利用出来なかったのが残念です。 また神戸に行く時は宿泊したいと思わせてくれるホテルでした。 お世話になりました。
