River out back and ocean in the front. Away from Kodiak, but close to fishing, hiking, hunting, and bear viewing. Rare lady slipper flowers bloom nearby in the summer. Bald eagles are generally seen multiple times a day. 2 inviting bedrooms, one with a king and one with a king bed. The brilliant interior design creates a cozy atmosphere for guests to relax. Olds River Inn (one of the island's best restaurants) is a short drive from your stay, with an excellent selection of handcrafted beer brewed in-house. Its also a close drive to Surfers Beach.

From the house, we have seen eagles (nearly every day), swans, aluetion terns, seals, river otters, mountain goats, salmon, and more rare-to-see animals. We have also seen whales and harbor porpoise see on the beach across the street.
