"We never write reviews so you know this place is special: Location: perfectly located in the center of town. Easy to get to - street is paved. Parking is free and on the property. We literally got the parking spot right next to the entrance. Safe,easy, amazing. Reception / check in: Alexsander, one of the owners, kindly waited for us at check in even though we were later than we originally planned on. He was SO kind and understanding. Our Montenegran was not very advanced and his English is excellent so that made check in easy. He checked us in promptly, showed us the amazing reception and hangout area, the spa/sauna area, and then up to our room. It's an easy and short flight of stairs up to the 2nd or 3rd floor. Motion triggered step lights light your way (great touch). Room: omg. These rooms (he gave us a tour of all of them since we're early in the season and the only ones there) are SO well appointed. Of all the rooms and places we stayed at across Kotor, Kolasin, Virpazar, and Ucinj, this was the stand out amongst them and I would say a stand out even amongst many many USA hotels. It reminded us of Japan hotels - everything has a design AND function. Things aren't in the room just to be in the room - for example, there are well appointed hooks in the right place for all your hats and coats,"

"The staff was very helpful. We were allowed early check in for a fee. We were grateful as we had taken an all night very rough train ride from Belgrade. We must also mention the breakfast. It was superb."

"Great hotel with helpful staff. I just have to say breakfast was really poor and it felt as though it was there for a while. We were the only guests having breakfast with another couple and it was very underwhelming and disappointing we paid for it. I would recommend staying here for sure but skip out on breakfast unless they can sort it out better."

"il n'a pas de café dans les chambres si on se lève tot et leur déjeuner qu'ils donnent pour apporter n'est vraiement pas idéale. Aussi si on mange au restaurant et on veut payer comptant alors ils n'ont pas de change. tout est compliqué avec eux. Mais l'endroit est idéale."

"Hotel Evropa, whilst being on the more "budget affordable end" and priced accordingly for a 3 star hotel, had a number of things going for it positively Hotel was right next to the main Podgorica Central International Bus station (Autobuska Stanica), as well as Podgorica Railway station - excellent and easy to get to and from naturally The Railway station being right next to the Hotel - will take you to Virpaza and Lake Skadar, the picture postcard mountain views of Montenegro; catching a train North from the main rail station would take you to Belgrade, Serbia etc so super conveniently located The staff were very friendly and helpful - always greeting each morning or whenever seen passing And the hotel had a charming and often quiet dining area for breakfast - or evening meals from 7-10pm, and super reasonable prices and very nice food too; buffet breakfast was classic Balkan simple food; it was adequate and what is expected of a 3 star hotel All-in-all, Evropa hotel gets a thumbs up!"

"This is a terrific place to stay when visiting durmitor! Only 5 min from black lake, zabljak main town, mountaimview in background. Considering where we were this hotel went out of their way to make sure you has all amenities you needed. Our room was spacious clean ans all products (shampoos lotions body wash) provided. They had a little spa area made available to guests which we thought was a beautiful touch! Staff was friendly and accomodating. We reccomend Hotel SOA if you are in the area!"
