Perfect house, perfect view, perfect location!
There were 12 of us staying in this spacious house! Two bedrooms in the carriage house and four bedrooms in the main house. The best part is: every bedroom has its own attached bathroom! The top floor is an open floor plan with huge seating areas and the most beautiful lanai! There’s a nice walking path down to Poipu Beach with turtles, monk seals and the best hot dog stand ever! It’s also really close to a couple beaches that are perfect for babies and toddlers. I had excellent text communication with the property managers, who were always very timely and helpful.

Perfect extended family celebration
Fantastic house...proved to be the perfect base for a family celebration. We didn't want to leave....when it was tome to return to the real world :-)

Perfect Location
Came for a wedding and 15 of us stayed here. It was amazing. Everything they said it would be and more. For multiple families, it is perfect because every room has its own bathroom plus a bathroom upstairs for common area. View from the deck is mountains and the ocean. Location to Poipu beach was awesome!

Perfect home base for a large group in Kaua’i
My family absolutely loved staying at Hale Hapuna! It was centrally located, so that we could take a leisurely walk to Poipu Beach. The home was very spacious, and we appreciated that each bedroom had its own bathroom. Mostly, though, we loved taking in the view and island breezes from the second floor!

Family Vacation for 15
Views of ocean and mountains were breathtaking. House was clean and very roomy. Kitchen was very well stocked. Also close enough to walk to the beach. Great property overall!

Lovely home in south Kauai
Beautiful house on the island with so much space and a great spot for our family and friends vacation. Overall, it was exactly what was in the listing except one bedroom was shown to have three beds, but instead only had two. We ended up not needing it, but it was misleading. Really appreciated the thorough instructions in the house and the communication from the property management. Would definitely stay again and would recommend this house. It’s STUNNING!

Aloha Staci, We apologize for the bed situation changing on you without notice but glad it did not impact your group! We will be updating our pictures and website site to reflect the change. 16 guests were creating too much wear and tear for the house. We decided to remove one bed and reduce our maximum occupancy to 15 moving forward. Prior to making this switch we confirmed with all guests who had a guest count of 16 to make sure we had a sleeping arrangement properly setup on arrival. Photos don’t do it justice
I rented this as a surprise birthday present for my wife and invited 8 friends to stay with us. The home itself was beautiful, the solo rooms were luxurious and the larger rooms had plenty of room for lots of people and each had their own bathroom. The house was very clean and comfortable with plenty of space and seating. It was even nicer than I was expecting and the view was unreal. Photos don’t do it justice, the view was breathtaking. Amazing ocean views but the mountains we impossible to take your eyes off. The weather rolling in and out and the different shades of green were electric. There is absolutely nothing blocking your view and the third story wrap around lanai gives you lots of perspectives. You could honestly never leave the place and have a beautiful trip. The walk to Poipu beach was about 10 minutes straight down the hill. There were lots of beach supplies at the house too including chairs and umbrellas. It was everything we needed and more. We all talked about coming back in future years as our families grow. There is no other place I would rather stay.

Great house for a group
The house is great for a group, with bedrooms below and a spacious common area above. We spent a lot of time on the deep covered deck which has beautiful views, plentiful seating and tables and shady spots. It is walking distance to Brennecke's beach and Poipu Beach. Our teenagers could watch TV without disturbing others on the deck or at the other couch seating area. The dining table easily held all 11 people in our group. It was a great location!

Beautiful Hawaiian Get-a-way
We had a large group that all fit comfortably. Close to beaches and quaint little towns. The description was one bed short but other than that it was amazing…I would totally go back!!

Perfect Place
This was a long planned trip to Kauai, 3 families, 5 kids, 11 people total and the house was just perfect! It is planned to be comfortable for kids and adults. The kids were aged 2,7,9,11 and 14 and loved it. There was room for them to play, and beach amenities galore were supplied: beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkel equipment, sand toys and umbrellas! And a ping pong table! The kitchen is equipped with all you will need. The only thing we missed was a pair of scissors! The cottage was perfect for us, the grandparents. The view is spectacular! A short walk to the beach. It made for a most memorable family time. It's worth every penny.

The house and location was great. We couldn't get into the guest house the 1st night
We loved it except their weren't enough extra sheets and blankets. They had chairs for the beach, bikes, and sand toys.... that was great. The kids loved it and it was only a 5 minute walk to two beaches. It was clean!

Awesome inside and out!
We absolutely loved the views from the deck. The upstairs furnishings and huge gathering spaces were awesome. The bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms were great. Plenty of room for everyone. Lots of beach chairs, towels and snorkel gear too!

Family group of 15
Family group of 15. This home worked wonderfully for our large group. The kitchen was well stocked with every utensil imaginable. The large living area with multiple seating areas worked wonderfully for our large group interaction. There was a good supply of beach equipment that we utilized. It was just a short walk down to the beach. Our only issue was the Wi-Fi was not working when we arrived and it took a couple of days for them to figure out what was wrong.

Lovely house
Loved our stay here - beautiful and well equipped house with amazing views. Little disappointed in communication with property manager as I had several questions and had to keep calling back. Voice mail box was full and messages I left went unanswered. Other than that it was a wonderful stay and highly recommend the house,

Great house for large families
We had a large group at the house and it was perfect for our needs. Plenty of room to mingle or spread out. The kitchen was great and two dishwashers really helped. Lots of great beach gear including towels, umbrellas, boogie board and snorkel gear came in handy. Would definitely recommend this house and hope to come back soon.

Great for large family reunions!
We had a incredible time in the full stocked home. Every last detail was accounted for and we were always able to find what we needed. This is perfect for families and large groups. The living area is all upstairs and the bedrooms are downstairs so it is perfect for people who want to entertain upstairs while the kids are asleep downstairs etc.. The views are incredible. The beach is a short walk and the home is also fully stocked with beach toys, towels, chairs, and boogie boards.

With the green belt walking path just two blocks away you are just a half mile from Poipu Beach or 0.8 miles from Keoniloa Bay (Shipwreck Beach in front of the Grand Hyatt) so you can't go wrong! Great Views, Wonderfully Large Living Space
The accommodations, especially the very large living room/dining area/kitchen easily accomodated our family of 10. The lack of air conditioning in this space was a small negative usually countered by a breeze, either in the room itself or on the wrap around balcony. Sunsets were a special treat. Two of the bedrooms in the main house were attractive and comfortable. The other two, unfortunately, felt like a dormitory. All had AC. We didn't use the guest house because it lacked AC. The kitchen had all of the pots, pans, and utensils one would need. The two dishwashers were especially useful. The icemaker in the refrigerator was slow, so we bought ice. Strangely, there was no salt, pepper, or sugar. In conclusion, we were comfortable and the house met our needs.

Perfect place for a large family trip
This is a wonderful property that is within walking distance of two beaches, Brennecke's and Poipu. The views from the 3rd floor lanai are spectacular. The 3rd floor is one great room with kitchen (2 dishwashers!) dining area, and several seating areas - perfect for the family to get together. The house is beautifully constructed. The woodwork throughout is gorgeous. Every window and all of the sliding doors to the lanais have screens so the house can be opened up to the ever present tropical breezes. The 4 bedrooms in the main house are all on the 2nd floor and there are enough beds to accommodate lots of folks. These bedrooms are air-conditioned for a comfortable nights sleep. We also rented the adjacent guest house with 2 bedrooms. It is not air-conditioned, but after the first night we got acclimated to the temps. There are 2 huge showers on the ground floor for washing off the day's sand, a laundry room, and a large walk-in closet stocked with all kinds of beach toys and a ping-pong table. There is off-street parking that easily accommodated our 2 cars. We thoroughly enjoyed the property and its close proximity to wonderful Kaua'i experiences!
