Great location, nice condo

We had a great time at Prince Kuhio! Perfect location to visit everything on the South Coast. Nice, well-appointed condo.

Great little spot

The unit was spotless and thoughtfully maintained. Nice view from the bedroom onto park and water. Easy walking distance to shops and beach. We really enjoyed it. No dishwasher but the positives more than outweighed this little inconvenience.

Nice stay

We had a nice few Days in this clean nice condo. Weather wasn’t the friendliest but we enjoyed ourselves. Host was very quick to respond to any of our request. Would stay again.

Lazy Lounging on Lovely Lanai

We loved sitting on the Lanai (even if the table made it a bit crowded) watching the clouds go by and the waves come in. Delightful. Space was clean and spacious. And outfitted with all one could need for a wonderful stay in Hawaii.

Koloa with an ocean view

We absolutely loved the apartment and location! It was clean, had a wonderful view and amazing breeze in bedroom! Only feedback of what could have been better... the bed has an uncomfortable mattress that is extremely loud with every little movement. The curtains in the bedroom allow lights (car lights) to come through all night long. Those are the only two things I would change to make it absolutely perfect! We had Amy's mobile massage come and the living room is large enough to accommodate two massage tables which was awesome! The location was great! Walking distance to two beaches, Baby beach and Lawai beach!

Awesome views and great location

Ocean view from the deck. Tropical garden view and pool out the front. Clean unit that had everything that was advertised. Great snorkeling beach across the street. Very close to Poipu Beach area for swimming/body-boarding/snorkeling as well as lots of turtles and seals, but in a much quieter setting. Our keypad battery died when we were there, and they were very responsive to get it fixed right away.

Great Unit!

I love staying at the prince Kuhio. I have to say this is one of my favorite units. It's so big! The extra half bath is a total bonus. Love the top floor location and great views. We were very comfortable here. Will be booking again in the future!

Great location near snorkeling and small beach

We enjoyed our stay and the nice Prince Kuhio property. I was surprised there was no AC (not super evident in the listing). We stayed in January and could have still used some cooling in the bedroom beyond the supplied fans. Well appointed condo with many little extras like beach chairs.

Older but well maintained lovely condo in great Kauai location!

Spacious and clean condo though needs updating of furnishings. Beautiful grounds close to nice small beach and snorkeling cove with beautiful sunsets. Great location for walking to shops, restaurants and other locations of interest. Enjoyed the ocean view from the lanai (off the bedroom) and another peak view from the living area. A downer that I missed was no dishwasher. There are several Weber BBQ grills and we enjoyed grilling while there. Overall, a lovely time at the Prince Kuhio.

Beautiful location from our balcony.

Overall, this place is perfect. It’s very spacious. Grounds and pool are gorgeous. We would stay here again for sure. Only negative comment is the electric needs to be updated. It’s really really old. Plugs don’t always work because they are so loose. Didn’t stop us from finding other outlets!

Fabulous Location Great Condo

This is our second time staying at the Prince Kuhio Condos and we love it there. We had a beautiful view of the sunrise from our balcony, the beach was across the street, multiple excellent restaurants near by. The condo itself was super well equipped for our time there - we loved the fact that there were beach chairs and an umbrella in the closet. I'd recommend this location to anyone - however be aware that the management company they use (Kauai Exclusive Management) is lacking in responsiveness. We managed just fine without their help but I would not recommend their services.

Wonderful location and comfortable accommodation

My teenage daughter and I had a wonderful stay here. The location was perfect for exploring the south shore and we LOVED being within a few minutes walk of Lawai Beach for some of the best snorkeling! The unit itself was comfortable and had a well stocked kitchen. Since we tend to cook a lot, I appreciated having some basic spices/oil on hand and not needing to buy them. We were there in early August and though there's no A/C, we opened the windows and turned the fans on and found that the unit cooled down well relatively quickly. Our solution was to spend a bit of time in the pool while the cool down was happening! Would happily return :)

Great view and location but so-so unit

The view from the balcony off the bedroom is beautiful. There is a park next door and the beach across the street. But the building is rather like a motel rather than a resort. The remodeling was amateurish, the chest of drawers had an offensive odor which got into our clothes and the blind/curtain across the bedroom windows did nothing to keep the morning sun out at 6:30 am. Also the second microwave takes up a lot of usable counter space. So hang up your clothes, bring your sleep mask and be ready for a slightly funky place. We greatly appreciated what seemed to be an increase in cleaning the grounds and stairwells in light of the coronavirus issues.

Great Stay

We had a nice stay here in Poipu. The condo was clean, bed comfortable and there is a nice little beach across the street in front of the Beach House Restraunt. We watched the sunset there. I heard you can snorkel there as well but the weather was a bit unsettled and the sea rough so we didn't get a chance to try it. The roosters and parakeets were loud but we got use to them. Parking lot is small and the parakeets come in every night by the hundreds and will poop on your car if you park there. The condo has some covered parking but you will need to drive down the street and pull into the next property's drive and if you drive to the back there is a parking garage. Prince Kuhio has use if the bottom floor. There is also a water hose by the dumpsters where you can wash off your car and a walkway to the condo through the fense.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This rental provides very good value as there is no extra resort charge and the price is very reasonable. But you got what you paid for. I think it is suitable for young people who don't mind the heat. The shower area looks like one in a cheap model and could really use some update. There is a note above the sink that reminds guests to take out the garbage in the kitchen area and leave clean dishes only. The message is quite different from the instruction provided by the rental company which says their cleaners would take care of everything.

Island Condo

Online photos are accurate representation of the condo- however - when you see in person how quaint and full of character this little apartment is, you will be blown away like we were! Love the architecture & design, the layout is very functional. We were surprised at how big the unit is!! Lovely in every way. No A/C but the only time it got warm was in the morning, and we were always leaving at that time of day anyway! Afternoon & evening brought the trade winds through the unit with beautiful breezes. Extra fans in the u it were used when we were cooking in the kitchen. We used the BBQ one evening and enjoyed the fresh herb garden! The pool was crystal clear and the perfect temperature for relaxing after days filled with activity. The gardens on this property make you feel like you’re living in your own rainforest! They even have 2 Rainbow Eucalyptus trees! Orchids on orchids on orchids. So many beautiful plants/flowers/trees. I could live here at this condo in a heart beat.
