“Easy parking. Remember this is an efficiency so nothing but the essentials: clean sheets, towels, toilet and shower. I suggest asking for a room at the back as it can get noisy out front! The breakfast is great so take the breakfast. Finding a sitdown restaurant within walking which is open before 8pm is tough. Locals are quite reserved like Parissians!”

I do not know if it was because of my backpack and casual pilgrim dressing but from the start, the service was a bit arrogant. “This is a small town hotel. Free parking is on the city street. Finding a spot might pose a small problem. The town is very walkable. We visited to admire the cliffs along the town shoreline. The rock beds (called flysh) were deposited horizontally on the deep sea floor 50-65 million years ago, but now stand vertically resulting from Spain 'colliding' into France to build the Pyrenees. As geologists, we consider the cliffs are truly spectacular. A highlight of our travels.”
