"Etosha Village is a nice and convenient place to stay when you’re visiting Etosha park. The location is perfect, close to the park and also close to a convenience store wth gas and food. The staff is wonderful and the facilities are well maintained. The food is delicious and varied especially for non meat eaters. The only suggestion to make for guests is not to leave the outside lights on as they attract lots of insects."
"We stayed one night here and wished we could have stayed longer.
The staff are excellent and very attentive; they offer a refreshing welcome drink when you arrive. Breakfast and dinner were included in our package and both were of good quality. Specialty coffees and alcoholic beverages are not included and charged to the room, but the prices are reasonable.
The location is convenient if you are on the road between Spitzkoppe and Etosha, and close to the points from which the desert elephant tours depart.
The room has all the basic amenities and the beds are comfortable. There is also a parking space for each tent. The bathroom is also well stocked and the shower has excellent water temperature and pressure.
We slept quite well during the night, although the howling of the local baboons do wake you up shortly after sunrise. Although the baboons roam near the tents, they do not seem to pose any threat to the guests, and the area otherwise feels quite safe.
The pool was excellent and very appreciated after a long, hot day in the desert.
They also have a dedicated viewing point from sunset on top of a rock formation which features a great view of the plains below.
Overall, this was probably the best hotel we stayed at during our trip through Namibia."
"What an amazing place tucked back in the hills. We were quite surprised upon our arrival. The room was excellent and the lodge is very comfortable. The lodge staff are wonderful.
The challenge of luggage is significant. We're in good health, but I could see it very difficult for people with limited mobility. A porter would be a good addition.
Maybe I missed it, but if dinner is not included in the price, the price of dinner should be easy to see on the daily menu. Dinner was wonderful and well worth the money, but it would be nice to know. Our compliments to the chef!!!!
Thank you!"
"A great place to stay, close to Etosha Anderson Gate. Lovely chalet style rooms nestled into the hills. Rooms are comfortable with A/C, hot water and comfy beds. Convenient parking right outside the rooms. Wifi is only available around the reception area but MTC mobile data worked in our room.
Breakfast and dinner are served buffet style with plenty of delicious choices available and live music during dinner. There is also a well stocked souvenir shop onsite."
"Lovely place to stay. Really enjoyed having evening meal/BBQ with the family/owner, and the food was fabulous, and fantastic view from the balcony.
Very helpful in advising what/where/when re Etosha Park.
Only minor problem was finding the place, take the D2710 off the C38, pass 2 cattle grids (the 2nd is about 30km along the D2710), and then travel a further 8km to see their gate on the right-hand side, which has a big red sign - Push to Open, and then travel about 2km to reception. And a 4x4 is essential for the last part."
"What a great stay, the tent was well equipped with everything you needed. Great hot shower, large fridge/freezer comfortable beds. Enjoyed the swimming pools and the Palmwag burger washed down with a Tafel. Staff were very welcoming and friendly."
"This is a stand-out property in the most stunning location. The staff, food and rooms are excellent. Everything is spotless. Pay a small supplement to eat up at the top of the cliff at Eagle’s Nest restaurant. It’s worth the climb! The only downside is that the pool is a bit cold."
