The condo was much more dated than the pictures indicated. It was very clean...kitchen and bathrooms and bedrooms. If you expect it to be dated in furniture and furnishings, you will be fine, but the pictures are quite accurrate. The view is great, right on the beach. The unit is at the end of residential units, which was nice for less traffice on the beach. Some of the neighbors smoked on the balcony, which was unpleasant. The unit above this one has very noisy floors, we could hear them walking at all hours. The parking is marked, but it is VERY tight. We were there in the fall, so it was not crowded, but the summer months would be more challenging to get in and out. The indoor pool looked very nice, it is across the main road, but within walking distance. Overall we were pleased, but it would have been even better if we had expected the dated-ness of the unit. A fresh coat of paint and some updating (cabinets, doors, etc) would go a long way!!

The view from the balcony is simply amazing! It reminds me of a Nicolas Sparks book. We enjoyed the condo and all the amenities. We will definitely be back.

Creative description

Whoever wrote the description for this property used creative writing. It gives the impression that the pools and the playground are next to the condo . In fact, you have to walk across the street and through a parking lot to get to them. The playground was not available to us at all. During the week we were there. It was roped off with piles of mulch through out.You have to park under the condo. So if you have anything bigger than a passenger car it is very difficult. The rental company did give us the option of parking across the street behind one of the pools for our larger vehicle But if you are travelling with children this would be difficult.The view of the beach is very nice and the beach is nice. The condo in plastic which was nice.

Laid Back Spring Break

Visited Kure Beach for a relaxed spring break experience. It was great! Balcony view was awesome, location was close to the aquarium and a nice walking trail, and we loved that there was an elevator luggage cart to haul our items up with ease. Spacious enough for two families with small kids. Only complaint was beds weren’t super comfy, but not a huge deal as we didn’t come to sleep. Beach access was beautiful and not crowded at all. Highly recommend for a quiet, relaxing beach getaway!

I wish I could speak to the owner

I was traveling with my disabled parents. I checked on two separate occasions to make sure there was a working elevator and when we showed up, the elevator was not working. There was a major storm that was tracking directly towards Carolina Beach and I reached out to the management company to inquire about the severity of the storm. They told me it was nothing to worry about as it was just a little rain. That was not accurate at all if anyone had bothered to check the weather as I had. we waited for about 30 minutes to see if the elevator was going to be fixed prior to being transferred to another unit. The other unit did not have a clubhouse or workout facility and this was very important to me. Both my parents were looking forward to a hot tub and a sauna. I do understand that things happen Under the best of circumstances. I asked for the manager to contact me and she never did. I requested this on Sunday when we checked in and then I requested it again on Monday and was told to come to the office Tuesday around nine or 930. I did go to the office and it was very evident that they had a lot of water damage to deal with at their office. Out of all of my travels, I have never been given just one roll of toilet paper. When I asked for additional rolls, I was told to go buy some. Since I am paying a little more than $1000 for three nights, kindness should be expected.the only towels in the unit were small white bath towels. We were not given any pool towels or towels for the

We really enjoyed our stay. Condo offered plenty of space for our family of 5. Location is wonderful, beach isn’t overly crowded at all. Condo could use an update tho, just a bunch of small things like plumbing fixtures, shower curtains, pots and pans were on their last legs. But overall, a very nice place to stay. We would recommend

First time to Kure Beach

Awesome beachfront view . Beach a little narrow and the coquina rocks made swimming right in front tough. Condo was adequate size for 4 adults , a teen and a toddler . Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to prepare a few meals . Tile floor needed to be mopped better . Parking underneath the units allowed two cars but were very , very narrow for anything larger than a sedan . It was hard to load / unload or even park .

We loved the condo location. You could not asked to be any closer to the beach. The biggest plus is the beach is private to the condos so never crowded. The condo could use a few updates but overall it really was a wonderful spot. We would stay again.

1st stay in Kure

Pleasure Island is one of our favorite places but this was the 1st time staying in Kure Beach. We loved the location and the view and beach access was outstanding. The size of the unit was more than we needed but it was nice to have the extra wiggle room. Amenities were fine, it had most everything you needed. The lights, switches etc. were a little weird and sometimes didn’t work. The most disappointing thing was the cleanliness. The unit was not clean. Counters were sticky and bathrooms, especially the 2nd bathroom was not up to par. We usually clean a little when we arrive. We had to clean a lot. The sliding doors had not been cleaned, which was disappointing because that is the 1st impression of the view. We didn’t take advantage of the extra stuff that Ocean Dunes has to offer, but there are good options. We arrived the day after Ian came through so there was debris scattered around the parking lot and in other areas. That did not get picked up while we were there. Overall a nice place just needs a little more TLC.

Pleasant stay, great view

Property was in a great location, beautiful and private view of ocean. Loved the proximity to Fort Fisher Aquarium and nature trails. Property was clean and comfortable with good wifi. Very nice and relaxing place to stay.

Roaches, toilet seat in master was mismatched, mattress in master was disgusting, lamps didn’t work properly, master bedroom door locked on us and we couldn’t open...had to go through sliding glass door on deck and bugs prevented us from cooking in the unit at all: had to eat out🤮!

Great weekend trip

This was my first booking with VRBO and this property and it went very well. The condo was exactly as pictured, right on the ocean. The views were beautiful and peaceful. The condo was clean and well stocked with the essentials needed. We had a slight issue with parking when we arrived - someone from another unit had parked in such a way that getting to our space was difficult. The property manager had the other owner move their vehicle and all was fine. Quickly resolved! We had a great time and would definitely go back.

Nice place

We had a wonderful time! The condo was nice, clean and in a great location. The owners were very kind and responsive - had a glitch with the internet and they had it resolved within the day. Overall great vacation to Kure Beach - we’ll be back! 🏝🌞❤️
