“The apartment was not as the pictures described it on the website, very misleading. Kids bedroom with no windows and had black mold on the ceiling There was also no window in the bathroom and extractor fan did not work, so also had black mold Toilet sink had come away from wall, the shelf was propped up with bits of paper The kitchen had kick boards missing, the fridge didn’t work properly and was generally old and tired looking The second night (Sunday) there was a big party in the room……

“Very spacious flat and terrace. The beds were reasonably comfortable. There kitchen area is very basic and there were no soap, washing up liquid, sponges, drying rack/tea towels. Shampoo and shower gel provided but no conditioner. Had to clean the flat in the end with vacuum and cleaning utensils provided by reception, which only works for a couple of hours in the morning and evening. This was checked very quickly and efficiently. ”

“We spent a week skiing in Alpe d’Huez and had a fantastic stay at Pierre & Vacances Residence L’Ours Blanc. The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, always helpful and pleasant.The location is excellent, right in the centre and just a short walk from restaurants, shops, and activities such as the swimming pool and the ice skating rink. The apartment was very well equipped. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals, and it was great……

Un seul ascenseur pour rejoindre le parking à l’immeuble pour toute la résidence (évidemment le Check in est à la même heure pour tous, il faut être très patient). “Luckily for us it snowed the day before & the ski lift was open meaning we could ski to & from the apartment block. Checking in was busy, a large group had just arrived so it took 30 mins to get checked in. Long walk down to shops, restaurants etc, long walk back up many steps after.”
