Een super Chalet met alles er op en er aan!

Samen met gezin 3 kinderen hun partners en kleinkind enorm genoten. Het huis heeft alles wat je nodig hebt, liften vlakbij en prachtig skigebied. Genoten van het balkon met zon en sneeuwzicht in maart. Fijne keuken, heerlijk grote eettafel en ook fijne zithoek. Bedden prima geslapen. De gezinskamer beneden is super. Kortom een zeer fijne vakantie genoten.

Great Chalet

This chalet was perfect for us, we were 4 children and 4 adults. The property was really well equipped, the kitchen had everything you could need. The owner is so helpful, she helped with our ski hire, gave recommendations of where to ski, ski schools and general information on the area. The resort was perfect for children learning to ski, the ski instructors (ESF) were great. It’s a lovely little resort. There wasn’t masses of snow whilst we were there, perfect for the lessons but we headed to Châtel (5mins away) for the afternoons and the skiing was great there.

Chalet tell you a tale of our time in Chapelle d'Abondance?

We stayed here as a group of friends for our New Years get together and had a great time. Location is great for skiing. Possible to walk to nearby ski areas depending on snow level and Chatel is only a short drive away and seemingly good in all conditions. The town of La Chapelle d’Abondance is only a 5 minute walk down the hill and the nearby restaurant of Fer Rouge perfect for evening drinks and snacks, with the restaurant brilliant for a lavish evening meal. The dog sledding nearby was greatly enjoyed as a unique experience and being able to see them along the valley from the chalet balcony was a lovely morning sight. Most days we ate in the chalet, the kitchen was well equipped, easy to use, and large enough to prepare meals for 7 comfortably. The whole chalet was well equipped with plenty of seating and space for our group. The fridge / freezer is quite small, so if you plan to bring more than a few days worth of supplies it’s best to keep that in mind. Those who arrived first had no complaints about the check-in procedure. I arrived quite late, and would have struggled to find the chalet in the dark if it weren’t for my friends having already arrived coming out to show us where to go. The only negative point for the whole experience would be the difficulty of finding it in the dark. Communication with the property manager was perfect, quick responses, proactively checked everything was correct on arrival, and even left a little welcome gift. Highly Recommend, 5*s

Excellent séjour dans superbe chalet

Nos vacances au chalet se sont très bien passées. Le chalet est spacieux, confortable, bien agencé, joliment décoré et très bien équipé (l'annonce ne le précise pas mais la cuisine est largement équipée en termes de petit électro-ménager et de vaisselle). Terrasse agréable avec ses 3 orientations. Belle vue. Soirées au coin du feu. Pièce à vivre lumineuse (même en décembre). La propriétaire est très réactive. La buanderie au niveau 0 (évier, lave-linge, sèche-linge) est très pratique, le vaste garage permet de stocker skis, courses, valises (les voitures restent dehors, protégées par le toit et un abri). Fantastic home from home

We had an absolutely delightful 2 weeks during August in this lovely chalet. It felt like a home rather than 'just another rental property'. Well-furnished and obviously loved by the owners with all the day-to-day appliances and utensils you might need. All the bedrooms were a decent size with two having wonderful south-facing balcony views across the valley and to the mountains in the east. The sitting/dining/kitchen space was great with plenty of seating space for everyone around both the dining table and TV/Fireplace and with great access to the south-facing balcony and patio with 2 outdoor seating/dining spaces, one in the shade (west) and another in the sun (east). A supermarket is just a short drive away and there are plenty of places to eat out just a short walk down the hill. There is no shortage of wonderful walks/hikes for all abilities directly from the chalet or within a half-hour drive. We loved the chalet and Irene (the owner) was easy to contact, attentive, and lovely to deal with. Thanks Irene, we had a great summer holiday, wish we could have stayed longer.

Magnifique Semaine "sans soucis"

Nous sommes partis entres amis (4) avec nos enfants et nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans ce chalet. Nous l'avons découvert plus grand qu’imaginer, ce qui est toujours une excellente surprise. Nous étions à 2 voitures et avons eu toute la place nécessaire pour le garé. Le village de Chapelle d'Abondance est très agréable. Un tout grand merci à la propriétaire qui a été aux petits soins avec nous dès le début de la procédure de location. Nous envisageons d'y retourner !!!

La Chapelle-d'Abondance

Great property, just as advertised. Excellent lounge, dining kitchen area - enough for double our family size. Bedrooms all of a good size, we only used 2 out of the 4, so plenty of room for a large family. Chalet was very clean and had everything we needed for weeks holiday. Great location close to ski here , good restaurants and great views over the valley. Easy access (by car) to local slopes but we drove to main Chatel car park to access Chatel / Avoriaz slopes. Owner Irene - great at communication, provided everything / all information required. Was available on Whatsapp, answered immediately, very friendly / helpful and checked in with us to make sure everything was ok - no problems at all. Highly recommend ! - i rarely write a review but wanted to share.

Juste Magnifique !

Ce chalet est juste superbe, et ceci pour plusieurs raisons: - Situation: A gauche à une minute (en voiture) les pistes du Panthiaz, à droite à 5 minutes le crêt Beni. Tous deux super pour skier en famille. Puis les superbes pistes de châtel à 10 min. - Position: Juste au dessus du village en face des pistes ski de fond, donnant une superbe vue avec une belle exposition au soleil. - Chalet: Très propre, très fonctionnel, bien décoré et très bien équipé (Les photos ne lui font d'ailleurs pas honneur) - La propriétaire: Très sympathique, répond rapidement aux questions, besoin. Bref, en toute honnêteté, vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés.

Très bon séjour à La Chapelle D'Abondance

Malgré le mauvais temps, ou grâce à lui..., nous avons apprécié le confort et l'équipement du chalet, nous aurions envie de revenir en été pour profiter du balcon et des terrasses, merci à Irène pour le suivi, nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous !

Chalet chaleureux — très bien équipé

Juste en face au Crêt Béni, ensoleillé, chauffage au sol et poêle fantastique dans la pièce à vivre, tout à disposition, ski room ++. Séjour merveilleux dans la Vallée d’Abondance, n’hésitez pas. Comme on dit dans le coin « une vache un fromage »

Summer mountain holiday

We had a lovely family holiday in La Chapelle d’Abondance. The chalet is in a fantastic location with view on the mountains and sun from morning to evening. Various scenic mountain walks are within easy reach as well as other activities such as mountain biking, rafting, parachuting etc The chalet is spacious, traditional style and well equipped. Séjour enchanteur

Superbe et vaste chalet cosy, tout confort, très bien équipé offrant une vue magnifique sur la vallée et bien situé. Le temps n’était pas optimum mais nous avons pu faire des randonnées et des sorties vtt et nous avons profité des espaces extérieurs du chalet qui sont bien abrités. Le sous-sous est top, prévu pour recevoir les skis l’hiver, vous pouvez l’été y mettre les vélos, les chaussures de marche. Propreté assurée à tous les étages. Quant à là propriétaire, elle est disponible, toujours à l’écoute et répond rapidement au moindre message ; nos échanges ont été très agréables. Un endroit où nous retournerons assurément

great chalet and location

We were very happy with the chalet, it was perfect for our stay for two families with a small child each, plus a couple of friends. The chalet is very nice and comfortable, well located, with a good view. The ski du fond area of La Chapelle is right in front, which is very convenient. Ski areas are a short drive, but of course were closed during our stay due to COVID. The chalet is well equipped, especially the kitchen. Heating is excellent, including under-floor heating. The open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area is great. Parking is good as well. We have no complaints at all, highly recommend this chalet. The owner was pleasant and communication was good. Merci!

Mooi ruim en licht ingericht chalet

Het is een mooi ruim en licht ingericht chalet van alle gemakken voorzien. We kregen een warm en persoonlijk welkom. Vanaf het chalet kan je direct gaan wandelen. Ook de winkeltjes en restaurantjes zijn op loopafstand. Het meer van Geneve is binnen een uur bereikbaar. Bij terugkomst kun je van de bergen genieten op een van de terrassen.

Chalet confortable pour 8 personnes, conforme à la description.

Le chalet est agréable, propre et accueille confortablement 8 personnes. La cuisine est bien équipée, le coin repas et le salon sont conviviaux, avec un poêle à bois. Une vaste terrasse permet de lézarder si le soleil est au rendez vous. Il y a 3 chambres avec lit double au 1er étage, salle de bains commune et WC séparé, un autre WC au rez de chaussée, et une chambre avec lit double et deux lits superposés à la cave, donnant sur une porte fenêtre, avec une salle de bains avec WC juste à côté. Le matériel de ski peut être rentré et séché. Nous avons utilisé notre voiture pour nous rendre aux différentes remontées, dont l'une proche du chalet et accédant au domaine des Portes du Soleil. La propriétaire est soucieuse du bon déroulement du séjour, et fournit toutes les informations utiles avant le départ. Sur place une personne peut être contactée en cas de problème. Pneus neige et/ ou chaines se sont avérés indispensables en raison d'un fort enneigement, l'accès au chalet étant en assez forte pente. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour, d'autant que neige et soleil ont été au rendez-vous.

mooie, ruime en gezellig ingerichte chalet waar letterlijk alles aanwezig is

wij ( 4 koppels) waren enorm verrast door de goed ingerichte chalet. Letterlijk alles is aanwezig om een comfortabel verblijf te garanderen. Een mooi terras en dito meubelen, meer dan voldoende opbergruimte etc...geven je een echt thuisgevoel. Een leuke attentie stond voor ons klaar bij aankomst, wat een heel fijne welkom is. De eigenares doet het onmogelijke om je in de watten te leggen en alle nodige informatie te geven .Het weer liet ons wat in de steek , met heel veel sneeuwval, zodat een 4X4 auto of sneeuwkettingen geen overbodige luxe zijn om tot aan het chalet te geraken, ondanks dat de toegang elke dag geruimd werd. Ook voor de dagelijkse boodschappen was de auto wel aangewezen met dit winterse weer, wij reden telkens naar Châtel om wat keuze en een goede supermarkt te vinden. Misschien wel nuttig voor de ervaren skiërs : het dichtstbijgelegen skigebied is misschien wat klein met oude en trage liften, veel paddestoelliften en korte afdalingen, maar wel heel rustig ! Wij reden telkens tot Pré la Joux ( 20 min rijden )waar je onmiddellijk toegang hebt tot het grotere skigebied van Avoriaz met meer skimogelijkheden. We hebben een fijne vakantie gehad , met hartelijke dank aan Irene voor alles om het ons zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken !! een absolute aanrader !
