"We would jump at the chance to stay here again! The staff was friendly, cheerful, and went out of their way to be helpful in very thoughtful ways. There are a number of whimsical touches around the premises. They also had an exhibit of little sailboats decorated by the staff. We were invited to vote for our favorite. There were fresh chocolate chip cookies to greet us upon arrival! The continental breakfast was nice, but not a full hot breakfast. However, there were plenty of options, including yogurt and hard-boiled eggs. The only drawback to the hotel is that there is no elevator, however if that's a problem for you, simply ask for a ground floor room when you book. The Marina Inn is an excellent value, and we highly recommend it."

"Room was clean and comfortable. The place is very outdated. Hallways especially need some love. Breakfast was decent, but the juice was very bad, mixed wrong or something. My biggest issue with this hotel was the staff. Counter staffer was rude when we asked her where the dining room was located. She actually snapped that it was right behind us (behind a closed door). Check in was good, but no smiles or friendly banter. I gave the rating that I did because the room was large and comfortable."

"All.was lovely inside and out and precisely as pictured. The kitchen was amazingly well stocked w all manner of cooking utensils... and even a very good set of knives!! Often such accomdations seem to supply the cheapest cutlery sets money can buy :)"
