「The house worked out great for us. We went over to the town park several times and enjoyed the fire pit (calling to check the local fire safety status was new to me but understandable, especially given the amount of wildfires in MN/Canada).It is definitely quieter on the north side of the island which was just right for us. Thanks for letting us use the place!」

「The set up worked perfectly for the eight of us (4 couples). Used the deck off the kitchen a lot. The kitchen had all the tools we needed for cooking and serving. Beds were comfortable and water was hot for showers. Close to the bay and shops. Recommended」

「We enjoyed our weeklong stay at "Goodnight Irene" -- an expansive space with cozy nooks to read book, play a game, have a snack. Contemporary cabin vibe with fun touches. Perfect for a couples get away -- good also if you have a small child or two. Two queen beds and a daybed -- all in the same sleeping space. Pet friendly. Two small, under-counter fridges, and a counter-top ice maker. Two-burner stove, but no oven. The only VRBO I've ever encountered with a stocked candy machine! (Free!)」

「Kitchen was excellently stocked with utensils, dishes, pans etc. and spacious.We could never get the combination for entry to work so used the “hidden” key.Plenty of towels and bedding. Over all plenty of room and furniture.With one bathroom and 6 adults it would be nice to have mirrors in each bedroom.We also grilled on evening.. Nice restaurants and cafe’s available.」

You won’t need a thing while staying here. The house is very clean And decorated tastefully to make you feel at home. 「My sisters and I (all in our 50's) took our 1st ever sisters trip to hike parks with waterfalls. We drove 5 to 7 hours to stay at this beautiful property. It was peaceful, comfortable, and the center of our adventures. The host was easy to communicate with and even gave us several local suggestions of activities going on during our time here. Definitely one of the best hosts I have ever had the pleasure of renting from in my travels. Definitely will be recommending her to my friends! 」

「This place is amazing. We were a bit worried about no AC, but after the first warm night the temps dropped and we were fine. We absolutely loved the screened in porch, which is where we spent most of our time after a day of sightseeing. 」

「Island Fox was a nice home to stay on the island and had everything we needed and was conveniently located. The screened in porch was comfortable to sit and read without the bugs. We even saw a bear! The check in process ended up being very easy however I didn’t get communication on it in advance and no response when I messaged and called on our drive up. All in all a great stay. Thank you for sharing your home.」
