Overall this was not the best experience. The location within the PGA West neighborhood was good but even then getting Ubers/Lyfts took extra time due to them needing to use the main gate which was on the complete opposite side of the compound. The best part of the stay was being right on #7 of the Nicklaus Tournament course. It was fun watching people tee off in the morning drinking coffee from the hot tub. We walked the course at night and walked to the clubhouse for dinner one night which was fun Some negatives: -advertising a heated pool and spa and then charging extra to heat it left a bad taste in the groups mouth. Not advertised on Expedia/VRBO but the extra cost is outlined on the hosts website. We paid the extra and requested the pool to be up to temperature upon arrival and it was not so it was not able to be used -secondary en suite bathroom shower broke and leaked, couldn’t turn the water off without really trying and even then it still leaked -no jets in the hot tub. We asked the host about it but they never responded back -overall condition of the unit is below average -the internet was probably the worst internet ever. We couldn’t stream YouTube and getting some work done was frustrating Probably wouldn’t stay at this particular hosts unit but I would stay in the PGA compound again especially if there was a pool and hot tub.

The spa was not operable and was the main reason we chose this home. They did finally send a technician and he initially solved the issue but it worked only for a couple of hours. We did not have use of the spa the entire stay

Absolutely fantastic! The host was so accommodating and friendly, it really enhanced our stay. The place itself was absolutely stunning – even better than the pictures! Plus, it was immaculately clean. We couldn't have asked for a better experience

Nicd place, but some unexpected issues

Nice place and location, Outdoor area is very nice with great views. However the furniture actually out at the pool is not nearly as nice as what is listed. The beds in the guest bedrooms were not comfortable and the bunk beds are silly to be honest. Biggest complaint was the pool. Had issues all week and the pool guys had to come 2-3 times to get it running properly. They need to list some instruction on properly using the pool and spa app and didn't get much help from the mgmt company when asked. Beware of the additional pool heating charges as these were not specified in the property listing and were frankly unreasonable.

Great neighborhood, road noise a little loud, carpets need replacing

Love PGA west, have stayed here many times. This home is on a perimeter road of the neighborhood, so there is a little more road noise than typical. Also, the bunk room had a bad smell, almost like pet, urine, or something, probably needs a deep clean or carpets to be replaced. Finally, the first night we checked in there was a cricket in the dining room that had somehow gotten in and it was pretty loud. I think it died or got back outside but no one ever came to get rid of it. There was also goose poop on the patio that we asked to be cleaned up but it wasn’t during our stay. The view was beautiful, and the pool and spa were nice and easy to heat.

Spring Break Getaway!

Great house and a truly wonderful experience. Property owner was very easy to communicate with and was very responsive. There was a large wind storm during our stay and the manager had a pool company out the next day to clean the pool of all debris and dirt. We will be coming back!

Should be so much better for the price

Was not clean or kept up. Couple bathrooms toilets didn't work. Master bedroom shower wasn't draining. My son would not sleep under the comforter because he didn't think things were clean. The outside area was great. We spent our time outside as much as possible. Great location with an amazing view, just wish it was more luxurious.

Phenomenal!

This weekend was a fantastic girls trip for my daughter’s 14th birthday. Swimming, spa excellent dining, and we loved staying here! It’s so much bigger than it seems in pictures and you cannot beat the view! Shevy and John were excellent in communicating with us and we hope to stay there again! And FYI if you have an iPhone just go to the App Store to get the Pentair pool app. You don’t need Google Play. That was the only thing that confused me for a second. Wonderful trip all around!

Relaxing views

Great overall! Sitting by the pool with the sound of the waterfall was very relaxing and sitting in the hot tub was great. It has all the basic needs and was clean, with just a couple of cosmetic flaws. Beds were comfortable, but sleep hot (gel beds). Sitting by the firepit was a plus. Would have been great to have an umbrella, but with the high winds, I can see how they don't last long. It was a little confusing whether to communicate thru vrbo or the property company, but Shevy's team was responsive. An instruction notebook would be helpful to operate the TVs and air conditioner, and basic information.
