Located on the EAST part of the island, you will be halfway between the north, renowned for its lush vegetation, and the south, appreciated for its many beaches.
Let us tell you about Tartane, a small earthly paradise.
At the entrance to the village, souvenir shops, a few anglers, street vendors selling homemade ice cream, fruit and fresh fruit juices, or the recognizable smell of smoked chicken smoke.
The fishermen's stalls selling their fish of the day (tuna, marlin, wahoo...), a few tourists sitting at the bar or seaside restaurant, the HARDY rum factory, the smell of the TI KAFE from the roastery of the same name.
The white sand beach, calm and peaceful where bathers bask in the sun, and for the more sporty, beginners or experienced, the surfers' beach.
Finally, the lighthouse road that runs along the treasure bay to the ruin of the DUBUC castle.
