“Bearlane Cabin is a cozy, comfortable place where families can retreat, rest, and plan their mountain adventures. The hosts have thought of everything - toys, bikes and games for the kids; toiletries (in case you forgot); wood for the fire pit and fireplace; a fully stocked kitchen; and cable TV (which was used only to watch Bob Ross paint mountains after time spent wandering in the mountains!) The cabin is rustic with modern comforts and conveniences, and the back yard provides outdoor space……

“We had such a nice time staying at this cabin. There are a couple well maintained hiking trails around the property. The scenery while hiking the trails, and the view of the Spanish peaks from the cabin were beautiful! It's obvious that a lot of love has gone into the upkeep of this property. We couldn't recommend it more!”

“we stayed on this property in July 2023. We had two couples and one individual. This property was cramped and not clean, and also very dark downstairs. The beds t downstairs were very uncomfortable. Bathroom downstairs very small. The cook wear was very old. I actually found mouse droppings in the crockpot that I was hoping to use. Mouse traps several places. Towels very old and raggedy. The upstairs was roomy, comfy bed, but had issues with the toilet flushing and no towels supplied up there.……

“If you’re looking for a vacation to take you out of the rat race and just clear your mind. This cozy cabin is the place to go. It is 30 minutes from the main highway so plan accordingly with food and such, but once you’re there, there is no reason to leave. Great experience and the host was very informative. Looking forward to next time.”

This is a truly special place and our host went out of their way to make it such a special experience. I highly recommend this place for groups of friends, families, or couples to get out in the woods and enjoy the peace and quiet of mountains. There wasn’t a single thing Wendy missed in accommodating everyone in our family. If we ever had to reach out with any questions they were available immediately. We can’t think of a single thing we disliked. The views were breath taking, the kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with everything imaginable, the towels seemed brand new……
