“Lovely quiet location on the edge of Cartmel with good road connections to the tourist areas of the Lakes. The place was spotless and well equipped but they really do only include bedding, towels and loo roll. Whatever else you need make sure you take it with you. It lacked hanging space for clothes in the bedroom and any place to put your cases. We were surprised it was a semi detached building, we could hear a lot of noise, especially doors closing in the attached unit. I would still recommend……

“We liked the space that the apartment had and the location of the property. The apartment was very quiet and had all the amenities we needed including the kitchen area. We also liked the garden at the back of the property. We will book again when we come back to Ulverston.”

“The staff could not have been more helpful. Hotel is in a beautiful place, just moments from the shoreline. The room was lovely and quirky and the breakfast was one of the best we have had on our travels. Thank you.”

“From the first welcome to the final farewell, it was a joy to stay there. Substantive breakfasts, pet friendly, old manor house setting with great views. Good choice of relatively local (less than 10 miles) public houses for evening fare. Already hoping to get back there when next visiting the Lakes, which start only six miles north.”
