Oasis in paradise

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Papakea. Very upscale decor and the bed was so comfy. Our host was quick to respond to our questions and made sure we had everything we needed including a magnified makeup mirror! The view was awesome, with lots of lounge chairs poolside as well as by the ocean. We were within walking distance to a grocery store, shopping and restaurants.

Papakea is wonderful!!!

This is our 4th year staying in J307, needless to say we love it there!!! Everything is pretty much perfect… the condo, the furnishings, the view, and the location. The owners are so easy to communicate with if you should have any questions or needs. Looking forward to returning next year!!!!

Everything was super clean, modern and exceeded my expectations. The kitchen was well-stocked and the location was great. There was a nice view from the Lanai and we enjoyed having our coffee every morning while looking at the ocean. I have stayed at over 20 rental properties and this one was one of the best.

Everything we needed! The chairs and other things this condo provides is such a benefit. The room got slightly hot at night but it’s like that most places on the island. We’d stay here again!!!

Amazing!

My husband and I came for our honeymoon and it was PERFECT! Was a wonderful stay! We used the chairs and the snorkeling gear that was in the room as well and saw so many turtles and fish! The bedroom was a bit warm so we slept on the pull out couch in the living room and must say that was a super comfortable pullout couch we have ever slept on! It was so relaxing! We will definitely be recommending to our friends and hope to being our family soon!

Great Location

The rental was excellent and had everything we needed. There is a small air until in the living room which leads to the bedroom being a bit warm but with the fans on we were comfortable. Laura was very nice and quick to respond when needed. The front desk has a concierge service that can help book excursions which was very helpful! Excellent location for Greta food, sunsets, hiking and snorkeling! We had a great stay.

Great Location

The listing of this property was very accurate. The location was great. The property came with wonderful amenities as listed. We had a wonderful time and would love to come back again. The only downside is the bugs throughout the condo, primarily viscosities in the kitchen. We did reach out to the owner who said she would have it sprayed.

Our vacation was absolutely perfect for 14 days. The condo had everything we needed that made us feel like home. We cooked in some and had everything we needed to prepare meals. Lura has the condo decorated to perfection, we will definitely keep this in mind on next trip to Maui 🌴🌼🌺🍍

Five Star, we’ll be back

Everything feels newly renovated, the mattress is extremely comfortable, AC works great, appliances are new and feel high end. The view is great. I couldn’t be happier with the property. A quick walk south will take you to some sandy beaches and a whole line of resorts with food and drinks. I’ll definitely be back.

We have stayed at Papakea many times, and this is our 3rd year in this condo. . The location is perfect with a mountain and an ocean view, and close to the pool and hot tub. The unit has been recently updated and is so well equipped. We love it! Papakea is a wonderful resort, with attention to detail in both the grounds and the buildings.

Lura’s unit is not only beautiful but so well thought out. Plenty of storage, a well-equipped kitchen, surprisingly great view too. Lots of extra touches were appreciated, such as hooks in the shower to hang wet suits to zip lock bags for food storage. Even some thoughtful touches like hot chocolate and popcorn! Would definitely recommend!

3 year Anniversary Stay <3

Booked this paradise as a last minute surprise trip for my Fiance and myself and it was the most fantastic time we could have asked for! Having never stayed in a traditional VRBO and only in the full resorts, this location was so relaxing, private and calm for our needs/wants. The size of the condo was perfect for the two of us with plenty of space to relax, cook, etc. The location is also close to plenty of great beach spots that are less than a 5 minute drive away, just remember to go early for any free parking! As well as tons of local shops and eating spots within walking distance. We were upset to finally go and hope to come back soon! Thank you!

Beautiful Condo

The condo looks as it does in the pictures. Very clean and well kept. We had a wonderful time and Lura was very responsive whenever I had questions. My questions were very simple, like 'where can I find XX' in their condo. She would respond w/in a 30min time window, and always very kind. We were w/in walking distance to beaches, restaurants, etc. If you wanted a longer walk, you can even walk all the way to Whaler's Village and back, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Thanks Lura for hosting us at your beautiful condo!

Perfect in every way!

We love the Papakea and have stayed at the resort many times, it’s more low key and peaceful which we love. This is the first time in this particular unit and we loved it. The owners did a great job on the remodel! Looks great! Kitchen is well stocked and layout makes sense, bed is cozy and views are fantastic from the balcony. We actually prefer where this unit faces because the sun doesn’t create a glare at any time during the day. In other units that face directly out to the ocean we’ve had to draw our curtains. Here we were able to enjoy the shade on the balcony and the incredible ocean view at all times. Super pretty grounds and great pool/jacuzzi! Convenient to great places to eat like the Fish Market and across the street from the Grocery store. Great location to take walks down to Kaanapali or the other direction towards Napili Bay. You won’t regret selecting this unit.
