“Had a lovely stay in Shiskine! The only thing I worried about was the proximity to the road but so few cars drove by, especially at night, that it is no problem at all. Peaceful and quiet. The tiny house/pod is just as promised in the pictures. I had a fantastic time exploring the surroundings of the lighthouse and of course all the beaches nearby. The beach below the property was basically a private one (in October), as I only saw a couple of other people once.”

“The pictures that accompany this listing do not begin to describe the stunning beauty of this place. The ocean and the surrounding mountains are breath-taking! The hike down to the secluded beach is moderately difficult but well worth the effort . The beach front hike provided more stunning views. The apartment is very modern with a comfortable living area, a kitchen with a stove top/oven, plenty of cooking utensils and modern appliances. There are 2 large bedrooms (one with a magnificent view……

“This flat above the owners home had everything you could need apart from a washing machine for which Alexander offered the use of his. The views from every window were spectacular! We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the area and retreating to this comfortable flat at the end of the day.”

“We have stayed there once before, the fact that we went back tells you we licked it the first time, our second stay had sunshine all through so was brilliant. It is a lovely spot and the weather made it even better.”

“Very peaceful cottage. Bedrooms had very low sloping roofs. Two bedrooms, with bathroom downstairs, and precipitous stairs. Extremely well appointed cottage. Tin roof, so storms were interesting.”

“A lovely lodge hotel in a beautiful setting. Plentiful parking and spacious rooms. Nice lounge and snooker room to relax if you didn’t want to stay in your room. If arriving by night, it’s hard to spot the hotel sign at the side of the road so it’s easy to drive straight past. The hotel restaurant serves nicely presented and beautifully cooked local produce. The menu is a little limited and pricey but the staff were friendly.”

“Wonderful stay in a beautiful location, very clean and pretty. In the kitchen is all you need.To reach the location you have to climb up a steep way.”

“This property was our favorite one on the trip. The beach was so close and the rooms nice and large. Having two bathrooms suited us perfectly and having a wash basin in each bedroom was incredibly convenient. Parking was right in front of the door. The kitchen even had sugar and some other items that we did not have to get. The traditional style was very homey. I would stay here again if in this area on a return visit.”

“Due to renovation work we were moved to The Old Inn just down the road, excellent hotel, room was really nice and the food was awesome. The beef burger was the best I’d ever tasted. The staff were lovely and helpful, travelling partner said the cooked breakfast was really good . Would stay again ”

“Bed super comfy and towels lovely and soft. Decor and space in our particular room not great. Supper food really good, breakfast a little underwhelming. Would have felt nicer to have experienced a few more smiles from some staff ”
