「Very nice little hotel in a remodeled old house. It was a little hard finding it ( end of a one way street with a very small sign on the front door). Parking was also not easy, but lucked out with a spot right in front of the place. Getting in the place with the phone was different, but not a problem. 「This is a gorgeous little home, in the beautiful countryside of Sologne. It seems to be in the middle of nowhere, but is still close to a couple of little towns if you need groceries. The field behind is populated by deer, boar and foxes and we had regular visits from a heron. From here we were able to visit 8 chateaux within no more than an hour's drive, which was the idea behind the trip, and enjoyed relaxing in the sunshine when the sightseeing had worn us out. Elle est proche de la jolie ville de Dhuizon (moins de 10mn à pied du centre ville) qui propose une super épicerie avec des produits locaux de qualité et un super restaurant pour manger "Comme à la maison". 「Beautiful villa Kitchen was amazing but would have benefited from some essential utensils such as scissors, whisk, garlic press, steak knives. The on site lady was extremely helpful and kind. Nothing was too much trouble. We had to ask for a few things but she sorted straight away. A leaf blower would have been a good idea as the patios were very untidy with leaves and debris. 」

「Well appointed property perfectly suited to our large family group. Charming host, tennis court, swimming pool, boules, pool table, etc provided activities for everyone. Property within easy reach of pretty Chateaudun with its chateau, supermarkets and canoe hire.More information about disposal of rubbish and a few extra towels would have been helpful. Expected camp cot was not there but host made provision at short notice. A very, very happy stay which everyone enjoyed.」
