Nice view but not worth it

House in pictures showed big rooms. Reviews stated clean house. Neither are accurate. House was tidy and mirrors were clean but that is about it. Soda sprays on walls, black mold in master closet, outside patio is a complete disaster (full of old leaves, grill pieces laying all around, trash and utensils on the deck). Looks exactly as the review from 11/21 stated. The grill was disgusting and unusable. 3 parking passes provided, check in instructions given the day before stay (after I had to contact), very limited supplies provided (paper towels, toilet paper, dishwashing supplies). Had to find the towels in the laundry room and finish their wash to be able to use them. No towel racks in bathroom. Trash left in bunk bed room. Outlet in upstairs bedroom completely hanging out of wall. Driveway stones on stairs into house (not just a couple from walking...a ton of them...no one else had this). Laminate floor coming up in main living space. Wish the house was as clean as the reviews stated. Paid a ton of money for an ok stay. Great view of the mountain and very close but not worth the money. Almost positive 2 of us have sinus infections from the house. Needs new cleaning company.

Great property

The house was great and has everything we needed. Plenty of bedrooms and space for everyone. Three 9 year old boys loved playing outside in the backyard full of trees and rocks, a little boys dream yard. Close to everything we wanted to go to including restaurants and activities. Perfect vacation with the family.

We had a great time and enjoyed all of the rooms, games, foosball, hot tub, proximity to Big boulder and restaurants.

Perfect Location with Lots of Bedrooms

We had a great stay at this property. The location is great for skiing at Big Boulder and Jack Frost. (Big Boulder’s hours are limited so check those). But was easy to come back for a lunch break or when small children had enough skiing. The number of bedrooms was perfect for two families. It was nice to have the extra space is the basement as well and everyone enjoyed the hot tub. We brought our own supplies including trash bags and paper towels. We were looking for a vacuum or swifter so we could clean up the floor a little during our stay and before we left because the salt from the outside made the floors very dirty. Otherwise, it was a great stay.

Great Trip!

We had a very enjoyable stay! The owner had great communication and we were very happy with the house. The house was clean and well stocked. We liked that the master was on the main level. We stayed here with 5 kids that ranged from 3 months to 7 and felt the house was the perfect set up for them.

Perfect for our stay

The home is beautiful and just enough space for me and my friends. The location was about a 2hr drive from NYC so it made it super convenient to drive up and back. The host was great working with us by extending out check out and it was a short drive to the slopes and ATV riding I would stay again.

Best Pocono stay ever!

Our family enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday at this beautiful townhome. The kitchen was well equipped for our thanksgiving feast. Beds offered comfort from a 7 year old all the way to a senior citizen. The owner responded to any questions immediately, but the home was so great we needed nothing. The views were amazing. We plan on staying again in the future!

Ok place at first glance, until you pay attention to the details

communication was so/so. at times I would get a response quickly, other times a few hours or a day later. interior was clean although the common areas appeared to look bigger in photos (thanks to wide angle lens trickery). Leaves were all over the patio, we ended up cleaning it ourselves. Very disappointing response by owner "you are in the middle of forest, we clean once a week, they will accumulate anyway". We cleaned the first day and barely saw any other leaves at checkout. Regardless, patio needs to be cleaned before guest arrival, not just once a week! we pay a hefty cleaning fee! Grill was dirty, rusty, weathered and one of those cheap $200 HD specials. Propane tank was also empty and the starter battery needed to be cleaned before it would work. Luckily she had another full tank in the closet. Minor inconveniences like this make it not worth it. Host is a MISER when it comes to supplies. For a house that hosts 12 people (we had 11 in our group), only 1 paper towel provided. Her response - we only provide 1 PT which should last you a week! I was appalled at that response. 1 PT for a house that can host 12 people for 1 week? Please use common sense. No soap in any of the showers, had to buy our own. One dishwasher pod. We had issues finding extra garbage bags but luckily found a couple more (not insde the great value walmart brand garbage bag box but just laying on the right side of the bottom drawer). You would think kitchen essentials like salt would be provided, but there was none. Jets in hot tub don't work. I've stayed at many rentals (not VRBO) in the poconos and never had any of these issues. But the host made the excuse that I'm in the middle of the forest and the cleaning lady has a very hard job. Spare me the sob story! Overall not a very pleasant experience, would not recommend.

Fall Getaway

Very nice accommodations. Host was easy to reach. We had a wonderful weekend with our family and friends. Only negative was we couldn’t get fireplace to work and the jets didn’t work in jacuzzi.

Nice place

The host, Sarah, was always available when we had any questions or issues. It's about a 3 minute drive to Big Boulder Lake, which has many family friendly lake activities. The house was generally very clean and the pictures look accurate.

Wonderful accommodations and family stay!

The property was perfect for our extended family trip. We loved the layout and ease of 3 full bathrooms and short drive to lake/pool to swim and kayak. Everything was very clean and the owner provided all that was needed ( except maybe for extra paper towels)! We cooked every meal and the kitchen made that process easy. Terrific place!

Good times at Boulder Lake

We had a great time. The house is just the way the photos show. The owner is very friendly and helpful with everything to do in the area. My boys 2 & 4 yrs old caught their first perch in Boulder lake. The waterfall is very close to house. We went at 7am and not a person in sight besides a couple guys fly fishing. The boys loved the camelbeach water park. Everything is in close proximity to location (within a 30 min drive). Thanks for everything!!
