Hurricane Helene left an unprecedented amount of debris, and while cleanup efforts are underway with the US Army Corps of Engineers, the lake will likely remain closed for the 2025 summer season.But while the water may be off-limits, the magic of Lake Lure is still here—breathtaking views, charming restaurants, local vineyards, scenic trails, Rumbling Bald golf courses, and the Tryon Equestrian Center just 25 minutes away. Your time in Western North Carolina will still be unforgettable, filled with new memories while supporting this resilient community. This home was fully renovated and updated for 'gathering' friends and family together for unforgettable retreats or get-a-ways. The 300 feet of lake frontage and tons of outdoor deck space affords plenty of room for members of your group to relax and soak up the sun. When everyone is ready for a cool down, there are plenty of outdoor toys to enjoy with a combination of kayaks and stand up paddle boards so everyone has a vessel for fun on the lake. Also available for rent for an additional fee is a 24 foot pontoon which can accommodate up to 13. Cruise in style on one of the most beautiful mountain lakes in the country and dock at White Oak Point. No personal watercraft is permitted to use the White Oak Point dock. Early Check In and/or Late Check Out may be possible, depending on cleaning schedules and other reservations. If it is possible, there may be an additional fee that would be determined based on the time that you wish to check in or out and the seasonal rates.
Pets: Many of our guests have allergies so we have maintained a pet-free environment so they can enjoy their vacation without the potential of an allergic reaction. If you have a pet we have an excellent relationship with an fantastic local dog boarding facility so your pet may also have a vacation. Please inquire for more details.
