Lake June Escape House

"Our mutli generational group of 10 stayed at this property for 7 nights in June 26. The layout and separate spaces was great for groups.We've been coming to Lake June since I was little, and have stayed in dozens of houses on the lake. My parents say we stayed in this house 30 years ago (it has been extensively updated). This was one of our favorites. A lot of the homes are older and not well insulated, but this home kept a comfortable temperature. Kayaks and Paddleboards were easy to access and put away, so we used more than I expected. We had 2 smaller boats at dock and still plenty of room to jump off and play. I really appreciated the big steps on the dock for my 75 year old mother to be able to swim.. way easier than ladders (had those too) and not slippery. There's plenty of shade and a fan on the dock so we sat down there even when it was 95 humid degrees outside. They put alot of effort into yard maintenance, and pest control. Following my pup into corners, I didn't get any spider webs in my face, and that's impressive. They had a lot of fridge space, and 2 separate kitchens helped with morning and kids. Quiet, private road. Internet was fast enough to work from home. The home is older so some doors stick and such but clean, updated and maintained. We will here again. NOTE there are A LOT of stairs from house to dock. My parents 70s parents were winded, but they were fine. There's a deck off the house w a view if you have mobility issues. Loved it"

"Perfect for our daughters 16th birthday, house and property was amazing, so much for everyone to do. Teenagers enjoyed having their own space in the pool house/game room. Private dock, heated pool, kayaks, pool table and so much more. Kitchen was stocked with all the essentials you may need.We do rentals frequently and this property is one of the tops on our list. Thank you Santiago & Bertha for sharing your beautiful home with us, and also responding to any questions & unexpected issues we had."

"We loved our stay. The house was bright clean and inviting. You could really make yourself feel at home. The beds were comfortable and linens were fresh and crisp. The kitchen was well equipped and the fridge was so spacious. The roosters are still around. They greeted us when we first got there, but once in the house - we rarely heard them. We got to watch a couple trains go by on the tracks across the highway. This was a treat. Dennis was very kind and friendly. We hope to visit this VRBO again."

"The facility was old so you have to be adjustable for that other than that the place was just fine. Everything worked. I was very happy with it. We’ve stayed there two times before I never give a five star to anything cause there’s always room for improvement."

"Second time staying here. Love the house and the location is perfect. Kids enjoyed swimming in the pool and lake. There is plenty of space for everyone. With that being said, the grill is in desperate need of a good cleaning and the refrigerator seems like it may be going out-the food and drinks inside felt only slightly cool. Also the pool area needs some updating; the coping was coming off in a few places and the pool chairs had tears in them."
