Beautiful & Wonderfully relaxing place

The pictures on the website don't do it justice - it's more then advertised. Very well appointed unit, you feel like you have come home ! The view of the falls from the deck is wonderful - nothing better then sitting on the deck with the falls, the hummingbirds and a cup of coffee watching the sun light up the skies. We are already looking for dates to return. THANK YOU to the owners.

This condominium was perfect for our long weekend trip to Lake Toxaway

We arrived on a Thursday-Sunday, and this was a perfect size for the 2 of us. It would also be a good vacation rental for a family of 4 or two couples for a long weekend or even a week. The condominium was very clean and Jim had already thought of everything that someone might forget to pack, like usb plugs and a hairdryer! The view of the falls from the deck is amazing. The Tv has streaming options and a good selection of channels. The remote control fireplace was a nice touch and great for cooler nights. Location was great and central to everything. We have family in Brevard but also wanted to explore Lake Toxaway, Cashiers, and Highlands. There are several good places to eat close by. Jim made checking in and out a breeze. We didn’t have to pick up or drop off a key at a second location. We were provided a code via text and drove straight in. Was very easy. We’ll definitely play to stay again in the future.

Perfect getaway

We arrived at the home, got in with ease, went down to the living room, looked out the glass doors and the view was unlike any other. The waterfall was right there. The home was beautiful. I enjoyed sitting on the porch every morning and evening listening to the waterfall. The owner was wonderful. Couldn’t have asked for a better vacation.

Absolutely gorgeous!

We went and saw many beautiful waterfalls as they are so convenient to this location but we all agreed that our best view the whole trip was right off our back deck! We went to the lower and upper falls trails and there is no beating this view! The place has everything you need and the owner is exceptional at preparing an absolute perfect place. I can’t wait to come back! Thank you so much for sharing this heavenly space!

Jim the owner was great, easy arrival, checkout and very helpful with area recommendations. The condo is well-appointed and very clean. Nice linens and towels, the washer and dryer were handy and the king bed very comfortable. We had a cooler temp week and enjoyed the gas logs a few times, as well as the deck overlooking the beautiful falls. Having Alexa was handy for music. There are a couple of restaurants up the hill from the condo that are convenient and it was a short 15 minute drive to Brevard, Sapphire and Cahsiers for other fare and more grocery options. We had a very nice stay and hope to be back soon!

The perfect spot for a mountain getaway

We came to the area for an anniversary weekend getaway from Charlotte. It was a perfect base to do hiking in the Toxaway, Cashiers, and Highlands areas. The view of the falls from the deck was amazing, and we loved waking up to them each morning and ending our day with a glass of wine on the deck. Highly recommend hiking down and back to see the entire length of the falls - it's about 0.65 miles round trip from the condo to the falls. Our only issue was the wifi would cause the tv to buffer quite a bit and our phones to lag, but that's to be expected in the mountains. Thank you for the fabulous stay!

Everything We Wanted and More!

Unbelievable stay with beautiful Waterfall right off the porch. We were able to just sit relax, cook and watch hummingbirds the entire time. Upscale accommodations with everything we needed. Guide books, restaurants and thing to do were right-on. Found places I never knew about. Excellent host and caretaker close by to tend to our needs. Timely communications before, during and after our visit. We will definitely return when visiting Lake Toxaway, Cashiers and Highlands.Friendly, welcoming. Impressive wi-fi, movies and entertainment! Such a nice visit that we will come back just to escape for a few days or longer. Love this place.

Cozy Perch Over Waterfalls

This condo has everything you need to recover from modern life: a wonderful fireplace (gas logs); a deck overlooking a massive, soul-soothing waterfall; snuggly blankets & easy chairs with work trays; and restful quiet. We saw The Three Bears on our way in & a white squirrel among the rhododendrons. The Grove Park Inn in Asheville was an easy drive for dining at the Blue Ridge, & nearby Brevard has some of the cutest boutiques in the mountains.

Perfect getaway

My cousin and I needed to get out of the city for a few days. This property was lovely. Coffee or wine on the deck overlooking the waterfall was simply amazing. The sound of the waterfall worth it all by itself! Neat as a pin with lots of thought given to convenience (chargers for any sort of device were everywhere), as well as a detailed welcome email with everything you need to make your stay great in the area. Our host was responsive and accommodating. WIll stay again, hopefully in the fall when the leaves are changing.

Great Getaway

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Cascades the proximity to Toxaway Falls made the stay extra special. It so relaxing to return to the condo after a long day of hiking and listen to the falls while reading on the deck. The condo itself was extremely clean and had a well stocked kitchen. The wifi was excellent and we appreciated the Fubo streaming service. As at least one other reviewer noted the cell reception is poor for AT&T costumers. We we able to get around that by using Whats Ap to make and receive calls. We would definitely stay here again if we return to the area.

Paradise in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Great location, great condo. Very well supplied with anything you would need. Owner is also helpful. The waterfalls in your back yard are an added bonus. Located close to many hiking trails, restaurants and waterfalls.
