“Overall, our stay was pleasant. We were very close to the Shrine of St Padre Pio. My only gripe - or at least you should be aware of - is that the AC wasn’t working. It was due to the fact that they don’t really turn on AC until peak summers. The room’s climate was okay as long as you leave the windows open. Breakfast was good and staff were friendly. Also, don’t expect to get the typical hotel towels. They provide towels but are pretty thin. They do have a blow dryer in case you need……

“The resort itself was clean but the room layout was not family friendly for a family of 4. We stayed in the Royal Suite and not sure if they misrepresented it or I did not catch the fine print but we thought we were getting a two bedroom suite with a common living space. It was not it was a sofa sleeper in a narrow room and the common sitting was in the main bedroom. The view was beautiful. The dinner was not good, the serving sizes were small even by European standard and we never even……

She explained that sometimes the booking services don't keep close tabs on the actual occupancy. We understood, but learned that our card had been charged for the stay. “We booked the property on first week of June, we didn’t know that they don’t turn their AC on around this time. According to the staff at the front desk, it’s cold and just open the windows. I found it a little weird, I think they should leave that option to the guests but unfortunately, their AC is controlled centrally and you can’t do anything in the rooms. Towards the end of the night it became stuffy so glad I booked only one night.”
