“We had a wonderful visit at this tiny house on the lake. Beautiful views. The house itself was open and spacious. Ended up we had a few tag alongs and it easily accommodated 6 adults. We will be back again! PS: You can fish from the beach.”

“Stayed here for the eclipse but got much more out of it. It was a nice quiet stay right on the lake which made for and enjoyable long weekend. Havinging th abilty to walk out, sit around a fire on a lake and fish was quite enjoyable. The tiny home was perfect for our needs and look forward to staying here again in the future. It was pet friendy yet lacked any animal hair which was a big concern as we had more than 1 person alerigic to dogs but had to bering out non shedding dog with us. Overall……

The host’s were fantastic and the house was great, well stocked, clean,and what a great location. Would recommend it to anyone. Our whole family had a great time ages 2-60+. Will definitely go back. “The property is cozy with 2 bedrooms and lots of light filled areas to hang out. The property is very recently renovated and everything is clean and new. The setting sun gives a great show every night over the lake. The location is easy driving to downtown Jamestown which has some nice coffee (Crown Roasters) and restaurants.”

“There’s so many things to love about this Lakehouse. It’s right on the water so you get to see everything from the inside if the weather is too cool to be outside. Plus, there’s plenty of yard space for corn hole and bury fire pit. There’s a gas grill on the property so we were easily able to pair meals every night plus a full kitchen. This is our go to for when we want to stay at Lake Chautauqua!”

“We’ve been visiting Chautauqua for years and this was by far our best trip yet. The chalet was beautiful and very well stocked with all the essentials and then some!! Communication with the owners was great. We were able to hike and explore the property, play in the snow, enjoy some of the local wineries, then wind down to relax by the cozy fireplace. Our family had an amazing time and is already looking forward to staying here again. Thanks for opening your home to help us create some wonderful……

Overall my kids couldnt have had a better time being at the property and loved sitting on the inlet watching the ducks, beavers and geese every evening! “I've stayed at many VRBOs over the years but Blue Oar has really set the bar high for me from now on. Firstly, the location setting was perfect. A quiet street with gorgeous lake views that can be enjoyed from the large front porch with comfy seating to include a relaxing porch swing. There is plenty of parking. And lots of outside space as well, not only there at the house, but at the private beach area that has a cool firepit and a dock with seating. When we were there it was too early in the……

“The property met our needs except there were no tv stations. I guess you have to know how to do streaming and apps which we do not do. We were there to visit our son and daughter in law who live outside Jamestown and it was a great location, about a 15 minute drive to their house. We had a great time.”
