「Beautiful rustic lodge and nice forested surroundings. Very quiet and peaceful. Good kitchen amenities.」

「This property was not as described. It isn't a Fisher's paradise. It isn't possible to fish off the dock. If you didn't kayak out to the middle of the lake or pay to go to the surrounding conservation areas, you weren't able to fish at all. The dock is not properly maintained which causes safety concerns especially if children are with you. The roof in the living room leaks. Garbage from previous guests was not stored properly so animals scattered it throughout the yard (which we cleaned up)....

「We had a fantastic family stay at The Beacon, Anton was always available and super helpful. We enjoyed being in nature, taking advantage of the sauna and simply being together in the perfect family cottage. 」

「While Poppy gets all the press, Chris should get acclaim as well. Excellent property with tremendous attention to detail. Every time I thought " I wish I would have brought......" , I looked in the cupboards and there it was! Fun midcentury modern inspired design. Lots and lots of water toys and shoreline to explore. A true lakeside retreat!」
