“Great location for a vacation away from the busyness of life. The hosts were fantastic and surpassed our expectations. The cottage was very clean, spacious and beautifully kept. You can tell that the hosts put their heart and soul into making it a wonderful experience for their guests. They put special attention to the very small things from comfortable linen to plenty of towels, small gift for our toddler and so many extra amenities ( like shower gel, body wash, shampoo). “Our first off grid long weekend was absolutely beautiful! The cottage is cozy with fabulous amenities. The towels soft and fluffy, beds comfy, a wonderful greeting basket complete with a bottle of red! Even the fire pit was stocked! No problem with the fridge and we bought a camp stove toaster to make toast on the propane stove which we left for future guests. I used my hair dryer with no issue and never ran out of power. The description was spot on as well as the photos. The weekend did not……

“This cottage is just as advertised. Well equipped, beautiful quiet location. We walked, kayaked, went into town to explore. We spent our down time on the screened in porch which was fantastic. Internet was not workjng when we arrived and a service call was placed. The outage was due to the satellite dish being moved, NO fault of the owner!! Carol was very responsive in expediting the repair.”

“My family's weekend stay at this cottage was wonderful. The property has everything you could ask for, and the children loved the outdoor playground, and getting out on the lake. It didn't hurt to wake up in the morning to that gorgeous view, either! Our only regret was that we hadn't booked a longer stay - would definitely return for another visit!”

“This was a great little cottage. My family and I were at a family wedding near by. Cottage had all amenities, except a BBQ(although it was not one offered). The place was clean and the owner responded to any questions very timely. We did have issues closing the bathroom door and the shower heads spray was affected due to the hard water. Besides that we loved the privacy, the location on the river. Free firewood was available in the shed, which was greatly convenient. Lots of bedding and extra……

“This stackwall building was warm and comfortable for a mid January stay. We had a great time cooking up a birthday celebration and the snowstorm outside was not a issue. Our driveway and the lane to the main road were cleared completely. The place is cozy and inviting.”
