"The room was cold, the heating didn’t come on through the evening. Also we booked a meal in The walled garden, it was so cold in there and the food was not a good standard Which is a shame as it’s a nice setting."

"Stayed in a twin bedroom with my daughter. It was very small with a tiny en suite bathroom, but for us it was fine. Lovely and clean. Owner was very helpful."

"Well kept room, clearly just been updated. The heated outdoor pool is a great addition to the indoor. Sauna, steam room and 2 jacuzzi tubs also. A good choice of wines and beers in the sports bar"

"Room was clean, towels were not changed daily and tea/coffee facilities were not replenished every day, luckily I had taken my own. Staff very friendly, breakfast was good with lots to choose from. Pool area was good main pool was bright but a bit dark and dangerous in areas, the hot tub was not very clean or clear you could not see the steps to get in, needs lighting to see where you are going, health a safety hazard. Nice to have a bar on the poolside, and it stayed open till late. Lots of people in the on-site pub in bathrobes eating and drinking as you had to go through pub to get to the pool. Good in the pub had a good variety to choose from reasonable priced. All in all it was a nice hotel and a pleasant stay, but the pool area definitely needs to a bit brighter to see where you are going."

"We had a lodge that was half way around the lake. There was a parking space right outside and the lodge had a clear view of the lake The kitchen & shower room seemed to be new. It was very clean and had a separate 2nd WC aswell as the main shower room. There are childrens play facillities on site aswell as a bar and restaurant. I felt the bar & restaurant could do with a facelift, but it might be in the pipeline as there are some renovations being done according to a sign at reception. Pine Lake is well placed for visiting a lot of places in the area and I would definitely come here again."
