Very bright and clean house!

The house was very nice and comfortable, just as advertised. Also well stocked with everything we needed.We had lots of competitive fun with the children in the basement game room.Beautiful place!

Lancaster modern farmhouse

This property was very clean, delightfully decorated, and well furnished. Online pictures were accurate, although the lovely firepit area and Adirondack chairs with hanging lights was a nice surprise. The only downside was the road it sits by is quite busy and there is some traffic noise, although it didn’t keep us awake. Overall very nice.

Home Away From Home

This was our first time using VRBO, and I think every future stay will be compared to this one. Our family of 4 (kids 5 and 7) had an amazing stay in the clean, bright, spacious, and cozy house. One of my sons has food allergies, so we bring many items with us when we go away. But this house was well-stocked with things we could’ve used like baking sheets and oven mitts. They even had a mini waffle maker! The cleanliness and organization were top notch with shelves and drawers neat and labeled. The bedrooms were comfy and immaculate. The only downside might be the sound of vehicles passing by, particularly the corner bedroom with 2 windows. It wasn’t an issue for us because we live in the city, but the back bedroom might be quieter or you could play white noise. The best part was the basement! We did a few activities in Lancaster (The Pottery Works, Lost Treasure Golf, and Decades), but our main priority was relaxation. This house provided PLENTY of entertainment. My sons were obsessed with foosball and air hockey, and we had family competitions every day. The kids also loved reading in the nook and playing the games available. The backyard is great for outdoor play. We used the table and chairs to have a snack in the fresh air and brought the cornhole outside. The owners really made the location an inviting place. Booking and communicating with the host was easy and pleasant. We were sad to leave what felt like home away from home. We would 100% stay here again.

Peaceful birthday getaway

My friends and I book the weekend for my birthday. We loved the home. It was so nice and quiet in the area and we felt like we were at home. It wasn’t far from downtown Lancaster. It was perfect for our quiet weekend away. Highly recommend and will be staying again. Thank you!!

The house is just as it looks in the photos. It was very clean and spacious and we enjoyed the game room and the kids liked having their own TV room. Most of what you need for a family of six was there, however it would be helpful to have more silverware. In addition, there was no welcome binder to give instructions on how to work appliances and how to do recycling since every state/county/town can be different. The house is located in Amish country and we enjoyed listening for and watching the buggies go by. It is also close to many attractions/stores, That being said, it is on a very busy and noisy road with lots of speeding cars, trucks and motorcycles.Communication with the property manager was lacking.. We arrived on Saturday and on Tuesday received notification from our credit card company that we had an additional 250.00 charge which caused concern on our part. I emailed the property manager two different times and did not receive a response for several days saying they didn't know what that was for and that they would get back to me the following week because they were going to be away until Monday. Turns out it was a security deposit that did eventually get refunded however this extra charge several days into our stay without explanation was upsetting to us. I was also concerned that had there been any kind of problem during our stay, the only way to communicate was through email.Aside from these concerns, we had a great vacation.

A wonderful stay!

This was such a great house! I travel with Clorox wipes and Lysol, but there is no need here. The place was immaculate. The house was perfect for the locations we visited such as Sight and Sound, various places within Amish country and even to Hershey. Game room downstairs was such fun. Beds were comfortable and gracious amenities. Thank you for allowing us to stay!
