“The house was everything we could have asked for. The view was stunning and the hot tub and game room kept the kids entertained. Plenty of room for 3 families of 4. Communication with the owner was excellent. ”

“This house has been newly renovated and was very cozy for our family of 5. The location worked very well for all that we wanted to do in Boone and West Jefferson. Found some great spots for food including: Third Day Kitchen (great views and serene) and the Dough Shed (immaculate restaurant that had a fabulous, well stocked buffet even in late afternoon). We were there in a bit of a heat wave and did find the lack of central AC a little hard and the multitude of newly installed light switches……

“We enjoyed our stay at your VRBO! We also had family staying a quarter of a mile away up Paul Goodman Rd at Bella Woods Cabin that can be rented thru Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals. Their house has a huge game room in the walk-out basement, with pool table, foosball, ping pong table, fire place, seated inside bar for serving drinks, hot tub, outdoor fire chimney and patio for roasting marshmallows, beautiful trails on their multi acre site, 4 large bedrooms, and huge 2 story vaulted ceiling in the……

“Fantastic location. Very clean house with comfortable furniture and a nice porch. We had an internet outage and the owner went out of his way to get things up and running for us even when we told him it wasn’t that big of a deal. There is a nice charcoal grill on the back deck also. Highly recommend. ”

“We stayed at The Beaver Den while visiting West Jefferson for a family birthday and reunion, and it was perfect. The home was clean, comfortable, well kept, and centrally located. Amanda was fantastic—very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Downtown West Jefferson had plenty of shopping, dining, and activities, and it was a short drive to Boone, Blowing Rock, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and other nearby attractions. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!”
