“An excellent two night stay at a location we hadn't visited for some years. Our dog-friendly room was really clean . Evening meals were good. Breakfast was not included though we think it is provided at other times of the year. There was however a very good cafe and shop next door that served breakfast, coffee and snacks. We will be back to both establishments in the next few months”

“Pros - Free Parking - Near Centre - Swimming Pool - Shower Pressure - Radiator in the Room Cons - Booked 2 x twin rooms but only gave one key card. When we asked and received the second card it blocked access for the original card. This happened for both rooms we booked. - We stayed 4 nights, it's frustrating that you have to request cleaning by 10am for the following day. - When cleaning was requested, they made the bed but did not clean the bathroom or replace the towels. “I truly enjoyed my stay here, the ammenities were well kept and clean, the staff were very attentive and friendly, the spa facilities were great, the food was delicious and of course the views were breathtaking.”

“Very comfortable room, nice clean bathroom. The walls are a bit thin though so we could hear other neighbours, although everyone was asleep at night so no problem to sleep at all. The location of the hotel is great, it is a bit out of the town, in the middle of the valley. The garden is amazing and you can walk to the well a bit far down and to the town itself. The breakfast was very generous and varied.”

“The cobblestone parking was slightly challenging, and we weren’t expecting to be in a separate building from the inn, but the room was very comfortable and the large window had a great view which brightened up the space. The location was perfect, and the staff was pleasant and helpful. We appreciated that breakfast was included.”

“The interior of the property was disappointing. Beds were not made and the pillows were very poor. The kitchen was perfect, the living room average, and the toilets were very clean and tidy. The shower space is very small, so I wouldn’t recommend it, but I understand that is a limitation of the property. The staff welcomed us well, but at checkout I had a negative experience. “Check in was easy reallt friendly. Breakfast was good enough options to quickly have something and go about your day. Room had an iron and ironing board and a hair dryer. Tea and coffee I the room too. Nice for a short stay”

“The flats are centrally located in Liskeard, easy to find, I found my apartment spotlessly clean on arrival. I would not hesitate to book again.”

“The property was terrific. The redesign of the Jail into a luxurious hotel was fabulous. The service of dinner in the bar area was very good. The only complaint I have was that the young women at the front desk on our arrival took pride in being unhelpful. When we asked her where the entrance of the walking trail was she told us that she did not have a clue because she never walks and had never heard of a walking.
