Santarena Hotel at Las Catalinas
The place is nice to stay for two days or so, they are not too many things to do around the town, especially with kids. The restaurant needs to book with reservations, the day we arrived we couldn't eat at the restaurant because we did not have a reservation.

Casa Nahua Hotel in Tamarindo
The location was awesome and we loved the property. It's central but our unit was set back and it felt like a little hidden oasis with the pool.
