"Mattresses were worn right down (compacted down to the springs). Futon used as a sofa was SO uncomfortable. Like sitting on marble. Inadequate kitchen items. Please try giving guests a heads-up as to when housekeeping staff will come in!! Desk staff, bar staff, maintenance staff were fabulous!!"

"This is a beautiful resort with excellent customer service. The grounds are immaculate, and our room was lovely. We were upgraded to an ocean view, which was amazing. We chose to do the bed and breakfast option, for we had to work during the week, and I am glad we did for this isn't really a "drink all day" vibe. We had access to the preferred breakfast restaurant and the lounge which we made great use of. The only thing lacking was energy. I have been to secrets resorts in Mexico and they were so much fun. This resort was quite snoozy for us (31, and 32). It was mostly couples 45+, so keep this in mind if you want to go all inclusive and have a more upbeat vibe with more activities. The music by the preferred pool was very quiet and mellow, and the preferred lounge was so quiet you could hear a pin drop - some music would be nice to make the lounge feel more welcoming. "

"This hotel was very large, with lots of steps to get anywhere. Only one pool was heated, the smaller pool, and the beds around that pool filled quickly. The food for British visitors was limited and the one shop was not permitted to sell drinks. We were able to purchase water from reception, but other than the bars, there is nothing else local. We got taxi’s too and from jandia centre several times. The hotel staff were really pleasant and accommodating. I found the room cold at night and they brought 3 additional duvets. They were always helpful and kind. The staff in the dining room and on the pool bar were lovely, I just found the hotel a little too big. The room was always cleaned well and we had a really pleasant stay. "
