Ionian Sea View Villas

Acquaterra is a brand new resort of three independent, luxurious villas.

Beautiful villa

We had an absolutely fabulous time at this gorgeous villa. The location is beautiful and convenient to drive to all the great beaches and Lefkada town. The small village is a short walk away and has a couple of really great Tavernas, and a fabulous bakery for sweet and savoury pastries. The property was cleaned daily and fresh linen and towels provided. The host George was really helpful at the time of both check in and check out. Beautiful sunset from the balcony and outdoor seating area. I really recommend a stay here.

First class on Lefkada

Our first visit to Lefkada. My wife and I visit Greece very often and this was the best villa we have leased. George was fantastic in making sure you were greeted by him or his staff. Even though it is not a hotel you were offered daily cleaning each day. The villa is quality built and very new. Plenty of great restaurants, bakeries and markets near. Private pool with great privacy. I want to build the exact floor plan for a lake home. Thank you George, Evangeli and his wife far a fantastic stay. Book now, do not miss a great opportunity.

Best of Greece!

We have rented properties all over the world, this time we are on a five week journey, London, Barcelona, Greece and Portugal occupying VRBO’s along the way! George’s property was hands down one of the best ever for us! George is an amazing host! His property is like new! So well kept, you would think you were the first to occupy it! He met us after midnight to be sure we found the home without a hitch. He also showed us where we could get a bite to eat at the late hour if we cared to go back out. The space had a beautiful view, it was spacious, quiet, beautiful sunsets and we thoroughly enjoyed using the pool after visiting all the beaches during the day. George recommended spots on the island that we may not have visited. He stopped by a few times to be sure we were happy which was completely unnecessary. The home was serviced by his employee daily and it shows how much he truly cares about his home and as he says his payment is the happiness of his guests! How sweet is that! We travel the Greek Islands often and know for sure if we ever go back to Lefkada we will surely stay in one of George’s properties. One of the best ever, if you are visiting Lefkada this will be your best choice, it’s central to everything, within 10 KM of each location we wanted to visit so we didn’t spend much time in the car. We look forward to coming back some day and George, we thank you and we wish you a beautiful life!

Fantastic villa with amazing pool and beautifully finished

The villa is absolutely gorgeous in every way. The pool, view and finish of the property is lovely. George has been a truly fantastic host. We arrived much later than planned and George made the trip out to open up and let us in at 2am, incredibly kind. Would highly recommend!

We had the best time, this place is better than the pictures, my kids loved the pool. Excellent location, half way between Lefkada town and Kathisma beach with an amazing view of the sea. Highly recommend for anyone looking to get away and relax.

Wonderful!

Excellent property that lived up to its promises. George was fantastic, meeting us late in the evening (as our flight was delayed) to ensure that we got to our villa and popping in now and again to ensure all was alright . The villa itself appeared to be brand new - it certainly lived up to the pictures on the website. We found that we wanted to spend our time relaxing in the pool rather than exploring the island! We’re already thinking about returning.

Two years in a row at the same place.....it must be good. The accommodation is exceptional, the pool area is difficult to drag yourself away from, and it's not too big a drive anywhere on the island to eat well and swim in the sea.

Perfect spot for a perfect holiday!

Great house, nice quiet location for our family of four. Pool was awesome and much appreciated during hot weather. Outdoor kitchen and bbq was perfect for the nights we wanted to cook our own lamb, chicken or other great meat cuts found at the grocery store. Beds are comfortable and cleaning comes by every day. George was a great host and responded right away to whatever questions or requests we had. Easy access by car (from 5 minutes to 1 hour) to numerous beautiful beaches. We highly recommend!

Lovely new build in convenient location

Great stay with George. Property is per the pics - pool was great, fresh linen and cleaning everyday - very clean. Two great restaurant rec's from george. And in my opinion definitely better to be on west side of the island. Biggest drawback - tough, it was great, but i suppose if anything the villas are not 100% private when neighbours are there. Would def consider a return.

Beautiful well maintained villa and pool

George was an excellent host nothing was to much trouble for him always there if needed Gave us good advice when we had two slow punctures recommended the right garage to go to. Cleaners were in every day to clean up, also the pool was cleaned every morning. Lots of steps but you get used to it, would have been ideal if there was a washer in the basement room. The village restaurants were perfect for us only a ten minutes walk had cakes and ice cream every day from bakery, as restaurants don't seem to do sweets. Nidris is perfect for Restaurants and shopping. Hope to go back to villa soon Anjanette

Beautiful villa, great hospitality

We (two couples) just spent a week in this villa in Tsoukalades. This is a beautiful modern villa, and although it is not very big, it is very cleverly designed to maximize the space and provide everything that is needed. I was impressed by the kitchen , which is small but extends outside on a terrace thus providing a lovely space to dine outside and admire the views. Everything was spotlessly clean and the towels were changed maybe daily or every other day ( not even necessary in our view) . George was extremely helpful and kind and nothing was too much for him. I did appreciate also that prior communication with him was excellent and he always reacted very quickly to any questions I had. An excellent host! Thank you for all your help and for making sure that our holiday was so enjoyable.

The villa met all our expecations and more.

George was so helpful in taking us to the villa and showing us some good places to go. The villa was pristine.. the cleaner kept it that way every day. It was perfect in every way .. plenty of space, a perfect balcony for watching the sunset, a brilliant BBQ and great views. Being at the end of the row we weren't over looked and were able to completely relax in comfort. There is a large supermarket in Lefkada. The restaurants are a little limited in the village but just a short drive there is much more choice. Would definitely recommend it xx

Modern Living - Fantastic View - Off the beaten path but close to every excitement

Very nice place up the hill of Tsoukalades. We enjoyed the pool as much as the outdoor kitchen. George, the owner of the houses is a wonderful and courteous person with a lot of good Tips for your vacation. Only sounds arround you: hundreds of roosters :-)

Stunning villa with a beautiful view.

Just spent a wonderfully relaxed week here with my family. The villa lives up to the photos, beautifully decorated with several places outdoors to sit and enjoy the view out to sea and where we were treated to wonderful sun sets each evening. The pool was lovely and perfect for the hot summer days. The showers were good and never ran cold. The kitchen is small but served our purposes perfectly as we sat and had lunch in the shade of the outside dining area. A/C worked well and was quiet compared to many. Beds were comfy enough. Cleaners came every day and changed bed linen and towels every other day which was is a welcome bonus when staying in a villa. The local village is a short walk away with a lovely fish restaurant and a couple of nice bakeries. George, the owner, was there to greet us at the bridge onto the island and guide us to the villa and gave us some recommendations for restaurants etc. He is really pleasant and helpful. All in all, it is a beautiful villa, with beautiful views and we would happily stay here again.

wonderful hospitality

This is a wonderful compact house beautifully designed to maximise the spectacular views cool air flow. George and his brother are wonderful and fascinating hosts who are always on hand to advise places to go and things to do. We were a family of 4 including 2 young adults. This was the prefect villa for them with their room having direct access to the pool. Lefkada is a stunning island with amazing beaches and a lot of life.

Beautiful property with amazing views.

We had a very relaxing time at this impeccable villa. The private pool and the views are incredible. The villa is very comfortable and clean and the owner is wonderful, making sure you have everything you need. You can take a short walk to the local town for great meals. Wish we stayed longer. We would definitely rent this villa again!

Stunning property in every way

This is a brand new property finished in 2015. The villa is on three floors and the main entrance is on the middle floor. All floors have windows with stunning views from the middle and top floor across the sea to the mainland. Internal - on entry there is a small kitchen with cooker sink and fridge freezer, there are a few pots and pans and utensils but cooking for a large group could be a challenge, however when I describe outside all will become clear. From the kitchen there is a short open plan hallway to the bathroom and the lounge. Bathroom has a great shower with loads of hot water and great pressure. Lounge has a couch that makes up to a bed, a chair and the TV. Also a DVD player (we didn't use this) satellite is connected but only a few English channels. Wifi is free and decent speed, the are French doors to a small balcony looking over the pool to the countryside and sea.The stairs off the longe go up to the main bedroom which has a great bed and sufficient storage, another balcony from this room too. This room is sort of a mezzanine as its open to the lounge below but you cannot be seen by anyone in the lounge. It's hard to describe but it works fine and is beautiful. The second bedroom is located down a flight of stairs from near the kitchen. This room is ensuite with the same excellent shower. It has a door which leads outside to the pool area.and has two single beds. The interior decor and furnishings are very nice in modern rustic colours and very natural looking, the pictures on the web are a good guide you won't be disappointed. Cleaner came everyday and brought new towels and bedding every two days. Externally you park at the foot of the villa and walk up steps to the door it's the one thing I would say is a negative if you can't do steps, it's not Everest but if you can't do the stairs at home then you won't manage here. There is a great outside kitchen with barbi right next to main entrance so this works as an extension to the small inside kitchen. We ate up here everyday and watched the stunning sunsets. Pool and jacuzzi awesome! Overall it was fantastic and George who runs the place is just a great guy who can't do enough for you. I would not hesitate to return it deserves its five stars, oh yeah great AC. As for the town nearby you can walk, it's about 15 minutes few tavernas and a bakery and mini market, didn't eat down there but the food I saw looked really good. Get a car 15mins to lefcas town and 30 mins to nydr

Beautiful stone house in Lefkada!

We just came back from our wonderful holiday in Lefkada. Unfortunately, we were not too lucky with the weather due to the period we visited this beautiful island (early May), but despite this we had a very enjoyable stay. Our host George was very kind and helpful and did all his best to make us feel at home. The house was of a very high standard and perfect for a family of five and had all the comfort we could ask for. A grand pool and an excellent view of the sea from our terrace. Perfect location to the best beaches of the island. The stone floor inside of the house was very cool and comfortable, we can imagine that this is perfect for those hot summer days, as well as the outdoor open kitchen was also very cosy. However, we did not make use of the outdoor kitchen and would also have appreciated an extra eating facility inside as well. The downstairs bedroom was easy accessible from the carpark and has its own entrance which was very conveniant. Overall very content and we will come back for sure. Thank you very much George! :)
