"One of the worst travel experiences we've ever had - completely unprofessional and disrespectful.
By looking at other people's reviews, it appears that we are not the only travelers to have our booking cancelled by Hotel Vacanceole without notice. Concerned by an email we received, we called our travel agent twice to confirm that our booking was still valid - and were reassured both times that the Hotel said the room was still available.
After reaching the hotel, we arrived only to find out...

"The little house was great for the price. Could be improved by air conditioning. It is very warm in bedrooms and as it was raining could not let in fresh air. One let downâŠthe bedding was dreadful. Unclean cover on bed and mattress cover covered in other peoples hairsđalso found some in bathroom sink"

"We didn't feel that this property was representative of the listing pictures. It was a lot more run down and stark in comparison. Perhaps because we got a ground floor unit.
- The patio was unusable (no privacy and plastic table and chairs were covered in bird poop).
- Grounds weren't well kep with grass long, not outdoor seating around the pool (which is much smaller than expected with limited hours).
- Check in process was frustrating.
- Unit had absolutely no supplies (no hand soap, no...
