Great value for money

Martin was a great host. The only food option is pizza in the evening which was fine for us but there aren't any food options within walking distance. The breakfast was basic but very pleasant, including some home grown produce. The pool area was nice and although very cold we enjoyed a swim. It was so peaceful and helped us switch off for a few hours. Overall we think Martin offers great value for money, the rooms are basic and don't have any mod cons but it was perfect for a one night stay for us. We did think cleaning of the rooms could have been better as there were a few surfaces that had been missed. There probably isn't enough going on nearby for us to have stayed longer but overall we were very happy.

Fabulous hosts, we felt so welcome. The house and setting is stunning
so sorry we could only stay one night. Great breakfast and big mugs of Yorkshire tea. Hopefully we’ll be able to visit again one day
