"Kitchen / diner area is a great space but the house is tired with walls missing paint, garden overgrown, most of the toilets have temperamental flushes and it doesn’t sleep ten as suggested. 9 people max which was a surprise when we arrived as a booking of ten. Owners did accommodate extra bedding when informed and the property is clean with good bedding and towels. "

"The hut was very clean and comfortable and suited the four of us perfectly. We also appreciated the fact that there were only two other huts in the field and there was space between them. "This is a basic hotel. It's clean, which is always appreciated, but if you want your room cleaned during your stay, there's an upcharge. The rooms are extremely tight. I booked two twins so that I would have some place to open my luggage. There are no closets and there isn't a safe. Coffee/tea are available for a fee. The bed was comfortable. The staff was present, but not proactive. This is the best of no-frills. All of that being said, it's a great location with easy access to cafes, restaurants, and supermarkets. It's about a 15-20 minute ride into Oxford Center and the bus stop is just a short 3 minute walk away. With frequent buses and a daily bus pass, it's a much more affordable option than staying in Oxford proper."
